HB can't really ban you, don;t exactly control the forum :p most they can do is ask you to delete your posts/get a mod to to delete them
Cheers for the info anyway mate!

The main question i have is how is it playing on medium and hard difficulty settings ? Is it a much improved expereince when compared to the demo ?

A World Cup Game with only half the licences to participating teams is fairly disappointing.

I have to say that I'm disappointed too in there being no other licenses in the game, bar the 10 officially announced thus far - adding the Pacific island teams and Japan would have given more authenticity to the official Rugby World Cup game.
But then again if the game is now being heavily slanted to the NH & SA markets, leaving Oceania/Australasia teams out of the mix may well have been the commercial intent once the NZ & Aus licenses (and therefore that markets main interest) were confirmed as unavailable.

Whilst new kits (and I presume team logo's) can be added at a later date via DLC as is the case with England, I can't see this happening for the Pacific island teams - the licenses would have been negotiated and pretty much agreed at this stage, allowing for past/out of date official kits to be used in the game in preparation for the post-release date DLC fix.
Only agreeing a license now, 2weeks before release would just be sailing too close to the wind.

Would be more then happy to be proved wrong however!

And QuicheBuns, where have you gone again? Has he been silenced by HB due to his publicising the pre-release copy?

The player likenesses are also not very accurate, some are, but many arent.
Yeh completely agree, well from the point of view of the demo. Flood purped Shalk Burger from inside his 22 and ran the pitch for me, he made a tackle and he could kick from 50m out when he couldn't even get it from 10m out against Ireland. Cueto is apparently the fastest and strongest person in the game (running the pitch straight from kick off, breaking 5 tackles). Hartley (scum) purped 3 people and kicked over the top against Steyn to score from a 60m run (he couldn't even walk that far). When I chipped and chased with Steyn (morne) Cole received it and stepped Fourie. Spies can magically kick a ball. I know its on easy but there has to be a line drawn somewhere. Hopefully if hb do a next game they can pay more attention to detail. Ur so lucky for getting to try out the game. Cheers.......

Certainly not by TRF. We want to hear more. :)

In most circumstances in life the correct answer is the simplest. THEY HAVEN'T ANNOUNCED THEM YET. You said that when the squads are announced the teams will be updated. The same applies here. When hb confirm the licences there will be DLC. It's hardly like they are going to have a RWC game where half the teams are missing.

it's not their fault but the game is already shipping without two of arguably the biggest international licenses new zealand and australia. Licensing costs money and it may not be out of the realms of possibility that after getting the licenses they do have hb might simply be out of money to get more. It will be interesting to see how it turns out with as mentioned the game coming out in 2 weeks it's highly unlikely more teams will be licensed on the disc and will have to get a day 1 update or there abouts like the england kit is getting.

Yeh very good point. If hb don't get most of the licences, things could get pretty messy which will be fairly funny if they crash and burn. Not getting the Ozs and the ABs was a big setback since they are the top 2 teams in the world at the moment, until Ireland crush the ozs at the RWC!!!!!!!!

Sidhe just got there first with the NZ and Aussie licenses, from what I've read, neither of them even knew HB were making a game when Sidhe approached them. And yes it's so funny when peoples livelyhoods crash and burn eh? <_<

... and even so, the claims are dubious are they not?

Gotta agree with CA Iverson, what claims are they? If you're going to accuse someone of something come out and say it, don't imply it in a half arsed way.

lol what if this guy is just yanking our chain... pretending to get banned just so he doesn't get figured out that its all just BS? I'm just saying it would be pretty funny.

He's done everything asked of him and photos look genuine. I don't see why people still don't believe him?!

It's not BS you doubters, get over it! The fact that I havn't put vids up yet is honestly cos I'm having a really busy week at work, only got to play the game for an hour last night, and was too tired to start recording and uploading stuff.
I played on Medium against some lower and mid ranked teams, Canada, Samoa and Scotland, and I won them all. I'm not an experienced rugby game player, so i didn't expect that.
Defense is definitly stronger, line breaks are harder to come by and the defensive line does spread across quicker, whilst leaving smaller gaps. Also, the kicking mechanic is a harder, as the dial moves a lot quicker.
Have to say that despite not having played a World Cup yet, I can see that the game won't have longevity, due to the limited options (outside of Xbox Live) and lack of create a tournament mode (which I see as crucial). Very happy that theres 2 games coming out because outside of playing with your mates, longevity is the most important thing to me about a game. Hours of gameplay is one of the main barometres used to evaluate a game, after general gameplay etc.

And I wasn't BS'ing about getting banned, I thought I might after being privately contacted by the forum, but I was wrong, and the issue resolved itself. Apologies to the forum for putting that idea out there!
