Got Biased reffing?

Biased touch judges?
Different set of rules for one team?

f***in dirty cheats :%#%#:

Come on that was appalling, I seriously would not be suprised if there was something more into it.

How can one side be constantly offside and get away with forward passes, hands in the ruck and off their feet? Where the other team can't and get's sin binned for no reason.

Disgusting.

You lost, get over it.. life goes on.

Well as an American you clearly do not understand how this feels. Yes, we lost (unfairly and definitely not squarely), but no mate, this will take another 4 years ending with a RWC win to rectify this shattering day. I'm not over doing it, it's about the norm feeling here at the moment.
Lay off, let us have our whine :wah:
Actually i do know how it feels

January of this past year my beloved Buckeyes lost to the Florida Gators, a team we should have pounded in the national championship game. Trust me it was a lot worse or on par, for me especially, but as they say theres always next year.

Of course you can have excuses, but you have to give credit where credit is due..and you can't cry foul play by the refs, trust me mccaw alone has helped the all blacks win several games thanks to the blind eye of the ref.

What... a college football game?
You must be kidding if you think that can compare to what a World Cup means to New Zealand. I mean ****, every single advertisement has something to do with Rugby. There were like 50 ads on 24 hours a day promoting the All Blacks and the World Cup. It's every 4 years, and worst of all we get absolutely rapped with bad calls in the most important match.
You dont know much about ohio state football then.

Each weekend over 100,000 people show up to Ohio Stadium to cheer on the bucks, not only that but thousands upon thousands follow them on TV.

Trust me, its just as important.

i think that sth africa will b the main problem in the remaining stages of this worldcup i dont think france will have the legs to win

Obviously not. Case closed, I'll take your word.

Why isnt collage football rated higher then Rugyb world cup then drongo

A referees job is to make the game more fair. This referee obviously didnt do his job right.

Offcouse it cost us the whole world cup, but complaining will not change the result of the game, the french won. Fair or not, they won. The allblacks showed incredible lack of skill in their last 2 or 3 games, and their pool matches were far to easy and got all the people around the world, and the coaches to be over confident.

The All Blacks had been relaxing quite alot in their visit to France, while the French teams (I believe) were practising and gettings the small things right after their unpredictable loss against argentina.

We learn from our past mistakes and try to overcome it. Today New Zealand and Australia learnt a lesson, not everything goes your way, some things go wrong and some things go right. Although France won today, its not something I'd be impressed if the All Blacks went to the semi finals with a win like that. I think France has their "arrogant emotions" back again, thinking If they can beat the all blacks, they can beat anyone else.

Again, I think France did good in the match, 3 times more tackles than the All Blacks, some luck was given to their team. But its only the Quarter Finals, its nothing to be over celebrating about guys. You guys might be in hell of a shock in the Semi Finals against England.

The Laws of the Game â€" by English referee Wayne Barnes

Hello, my name is Wayne Barnes. For those of you who do not know me, I was the referee in the France versus All Blacks quarterfinal at the 2007 Rugby World Cup. I wanted to be a referee since a young age when my dearest Daddy sent me to a nice little all boys school in southern England. The big boys (and even the little boys) picked on me and turned me into the wiener that I am today. One of those mean little boys was a New Zealander; he made me cry to Mummy all night after poking me with a small twig. I was going to be a lawyer but my eyesight became so bad I had to give up that career to become a referee. I never lost my passion for English Rugby and I have developed my own set of rules to give the English Rugby team the best chance of winning the World Cup, and of course, New Zealand the least.

1) Being run into is a yellow cardable offense if it’s between the 55th and 56th minute of a match. See Soccer for an example of this rule.
2) A forward pass must travel a least ten metres forwards for it to be deemed forward, otherwise it shall be considered 'flat' (it's only applicable in a blue jersey).
3) A player is only deemed to be offside if he is at least 2 metres in front of the hindmost feet (naturally only applicable if in a blue jersey).
4) If a player is in front of the kicker, he need not retreat if in a blue jumper.
5) A team wearing gray cannot be awarded a penalty in the second half of a match.
6) A team in blue can use their hands at anytime, regardless of whether a ruck has formed, where they enter the said ruck or whether they are on their feet.
7) A ruck is only a ruck if it has been called as such by the blue team’s captian.
8) Touch judges may only enter they game to rule on "penalties" committed by players wearing silver. At no other stage must they interfere with the referee's running of the game.
9) If a try has been scored by a player not wearing blue, the video referee must spend at least 10 minutes trying to find a reason to not award it.
10) A scrum is only deemed to have been wheeled 90 degrees if it has been in fact wheeled 180 degrees.

Disclaimer: These rules have been written in order to destroy southern hemisphere teams and give England an easier path in the world cup. They could be dangerous if found in the wrong hands.

New Zealanders whingeing about poor reffing decisions, oh the irony! Well done France and England for taking down the arrogant 'we only have to turn up to beat these poor northern hemisphere sides to win' Aussies and All Blacks. Absolute quality

How does any of the above account for 70% possession and not being able to win?

Seriously, the referee made a bad call for the second French try, but other than that you have to look at why New Zealand didn't capitalise on their dominance.

Barnes did not stop the All Blacks playing. They chose to continually pick and drive instead of going for a drop-goal or spinning it wide, they chose to play aerial tennis with the French instead of counter-attacking. You have to look inwards to question why they didn't win despite dominating.

Mate, your dead right and most Kiwis would agree with you. It's just tough being on the receiving end of a **** house refereeing display like that. And no, I don't wanna hear "well, serves you right, this accounts for all the times you get the refs call and the times McCaw cheats ( )", because this is a cut above anything I have ever seen.

But your right, we had 70% of the ball, they made 170 tackles and never cracked. What a f***ing ***anic defensive effort, they deserved to win for that. We couldn't convert our wealth of ball so stiff **** I say. 4 more gut wrenching years of waiting which I've become so f***ing accustomed to.

Yeah we f***ed up but i still if we had a better ref those two tries wouldn't have happened. You can say im just making excuses but its the truth.

I know. But for the fact of saving our face and sounding like a total whinging prat, I'm just not gonna bother. But yeah, different ref = different result.

. However, McCaw spent most this (and every other) match on the wrong side of the ruck with his hands all over the ball.

mcCaw also gets pinged a lot more than other flankers for legitmate turnovers too due to media pressure. the most clear case of this was in the opening minute of the NZ v Aus game in the tri-nations this year where the most blatant of media penalties was awarded for a textbook steal by mcCaw fair and legitamte by the rules. there is no doubt about it that mcCaw does get pinged a lot for legal play at the ruck more than any other flanker.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAH

I cannot wait till you Boks get beaten this year, with the Wallabies out watching the Boks lose will be like winning the final, oh the sweet joy!
