Leinster's backrow was excellent. Dominic Ryan was the pick of them in my opinion, turning the ball over consistently and making monstrous hits (that hit on Cusiter seemed to knock the scrum half out for a couple of seconds). Thought Leinster won the battle on the deck but were 2nd best in the ball handling stakes.
What kind of player is Dominic Ryan, Snoopy? Would he be a conventional number 7? Because we don't have many of them hanging around in Ireland. Most of ours are blindsides who can play at openside
Hard to gauge. He's the size of a blindside or number 8 but Leinster appear to use him more as a 7. He trades on making big hits and causing havoc at the breakdown more than as an attacking force. I've heard people compare him with Lewis Moody - it's not a bad compasison at all.
