If Johnson has even 1/10th of a brain he'll be coming to an England 7 shirt near you very soon :p
We probably won't be seeing this guy very soon in that case....

There is nothing wrong with utilising the tried and tested, but you have to have a coaching system that has an eye on those emerging talents, even is they are playing for less fashionable, successful club sides. Some coaches are afraid to drop the established names, until it's too late. Then expect younger players to just step up to the Mark. Hat off to Dec Kidney though for leaving TOL and Fitzgerald behind, would have been easier to take them, even as far from form as they were.

Nothing but hype? I'd understand if he had maybe scored two international tries in 20 or so matches, but 8 in 11 is pretty outstanding.
Before you call them run ins, please watch a few (and his try assists, those aren't bad)
Please don't get all Welsh fans confused with Western Fail readers.

I guess it must be tough to contain one's jealousy when you look at the youth coming through an international side when another is relying on the same players for the past decade.
Then again, you might just be trolling and have got a good reaction. Well done.

North is overrated but that doesn't mean he will one day live up to the hype. As for his try count, it wasn't until his fourth that I took any notice as the first 3 were from forward passes.

Then again, maybe Fergus McFadden and Conor Murray might have benefitted from more time in the warm-ups. Kidney made the brave call, but he made it very late, probably later than he should have.

Johnson's an odd one. Sometimes very bold, sometimes very conservative. Seymour could be the answer at 7 as Olyy has indicated, by all accounts he has started the season in electric form (as has young Luke Wallace at Quins); however, to bring it back to the previous point, Warburton is currently putting the sort of international openside performances England hasn't seen since Rees. Rees I believe would have gone on to be one of the best in the world without his injuries; Warburton is very close to being such.

To be pedantic, his second was from a cross kick. Some said it was offsides but it is difficult to tell.
George North, terrible player, overrated. Bring back Tom James.

Moody is the worst 7 from the nations in the QF's

From what I can remember out of his first 3 international tries only one was forward. One went obviously back and the other came from a cross-kick.

Edit: Draggs beat me to it, damn:(
