Wales World Cup hopeful Gareth Delve has won Melbourne Rebels' fans player of the season crown.

Best Welsh 8, hopefully he will be able to play for us in August.
Well done Gareth, much deserved.

Yeah well done Delve, can't wait to see him playing in the 6N again. Great player.

He is a very good player and well last year when he was on offer Cardiff or even the Ospreys should've put up big money for him. I'm still amazed that Gatland (a guy who is supposed to have an excellent eye at judging forwards) doesn't rate him.

Blues offered him a deal but not as good as what the Rebels did. Delve has been very good in a poor team, regardless of the king troller above says.

Every time he broke into the team he got injured.
He has avoided injury this season, quite remarkable given his history.
Delve is a better 8 than Ryan, and has more experience, that Faletau, I think he'll be given a go against England and Argentina.

Can't blame him for not wanting to sign for the Blues and Ospreys. His SH experience will be a great asset during the World Cup.

I agree but if we are honest he hasn't been treated the best by WRU and I 100% certain that played a fact on him going down under.
Delve is a very good 8 and has the right body frame but I accept he had his injury issues but you just sense Gatland isn't too bothered about him

Also I know Blues offered him a deal last year but from reports it was a long way away from the big players salaries if reports are to be believed.

I'm not even Welsh and I really do rate Gareth Delve.... However this may be due to my massive bias towards asian players. Few and far between.

Is he staying at Rebels next season?

Undoubtedly the most consistent Rebels player; I look forward to seeing him playing for Wales during the RWC.
