I am looking to get tickets for the France V England game in 2016. How is easy will this be and when will they be avaliable to buy?

Thanking you in advance for the advice.

I believe the best ways are:

1. Join an English rugby club and enter the lottery they usually run.....even clubs over here in IOM get tickets. Alternatively, marry the daughter of the club secretary!!

2. Join the English Supporters club who get an allocation and also, I believe, distribute on some sort of lottery basis.

3. Apply to the RFU where, again I believe, the applications are put in a ballot.

4. Ditto for French Union who will get an allocation but not sure how they distribute theirs............at a guess, not on any basis that could be in any way deemed to fair!!

Good luck anyway!

I'm not sure option one is that good - my club play at level four, but IIRC only receive two tickets for away matches.

Hopefully the times are a changing, but for the medium term, I'd say the most reliable answer is to pay through the nose on a 'secondary market'. Any of Tony's options are worth a go as long as they don't cost you anything, but I wouldn't hold my breath on them.

they are put on general sale via the stadedefrance website and in places like fnac in france - you should be able to buy there.

I managed to get tickets for France-Wales through the Stade de France website without any trouble at all, I think a few weeks after they'd first gone on sale. I would expect England tickets to be more in demand though so might not be so easy. Worth a shot.
