Dont wanna feed the troll, even if I give here my 2 cents worth but :
"France give final insult" said the NZ Herald.
What about the DomPost : The Turkeys, The French Farce. ?
Sunday Herald headline was a "80 minutes and we're laughing" etc ...
All this crap left me a bitter taste in mouth indeed.

AB's fans aren't concerned. They back their (great) team with passion. Some comments left by readers on online articles dont count, even if some were from narrow minded acrid blokes. That's the game.
But TMO press headlines, articles etc ... are a much louder voice in a way.

What Rainbow Warrior's case has to deal with sport ? (cf Dominion Post). Do we throw on their face their past to Germans when paying football vs them ?
We, People of France, aren't pretty proud of this shameful affair indeed. Neither of Mururoa tests. BTW, terrorists dont excuse. France OFFICIALLY did & granted a financial allowance to NZ. Not to forget & bury this but to go ahead.

Does NZ press lacking of talented journalists to reproduce Greg Growden's Aussie stinky mood, as Stuff.co.nz done in Rugby Heaven ?

Saying nothing about other Anglo-saxon press. Our lovied-hatred neighbours from the other side of the Channel have invented the 'fair play' but often forgot to apply it.

Nuff said. We, Froggies, love AB's. Their skill, spirt & game. We'll back our (disappointing, for sure, during this RWC) team on Sunday @ 110%. Just for the game. Without any hate or whatever toward them or NZlanders.

Tu as raison mon pote , you are right my mate. As french supporter we love the All Blacks and their games. I don't read the NZ news papers and I don't care if one journalist want to whow crap he is. La connerie est la chose la mieux partagée au monde and all the things with the rainbow wariors are a shame for us but as you say wht this affair have to do with Rugby. J'espere que la France saura jouer crânement sa chance; aussi enragé que les Pumas; aussi discipliné en défense qu'elle a été contre le Pays de Gall avec une touche de french flair; un peu de folie et peut être qui sait on l'a grimpera cette Himalaya All Black in Auckland. Sorry for the english spoken fans but what I had wrote Pierre reflect the most of the opinion of the French.
Very Big respect for the Black without any chauvinistic mind but also a self trust on our on force. We can loose and it's the most spread opinion but there a little chance that we can win and this chance we will catch it.

I know its not New Zealand, but I think it is pathetic that Paddy Power have already paid out to people who bet on New Zealand to win.
Same with the paying back punters that bet on Wales to win, but didn't because of the 'wrong call'.

Why is it pathetic that they are paying out already? They are taking a bit of a gamble, just as the punters do.
Paddy Power believe the result is inevitable, so they are paying out in the hope that the punters may reinvest in other options.

It may backfire on them, but they are getting free advertising from it. It's almost win, win really.

So much hatred towards us, it makes me puke. And it's not only about our rugby team, they are also using all those crap clichées that no one would ever mention if they had open an history book.

I guess the word "modesty" is something they ignore.

The media will have a stab at anything for a bit of attention, even when it's unjustified.

The New Zealand public in general are very wary of the French side and have a lot of respect for them. More importantly, the All Blacks have a huge respect for them which is all the really matters come game time.

There are newspapers in new zealand (who writes in them does not matter) saying we are crap and don't deserve to be here, calling us turkeys, a shame etc. Whether it's all the newspapers and media or just some of them does not matter either. I just think that negative energy might unite the players and give them strength.

It's nice that some kiwis are respectful to us and don't underestimate us, it's clearly not the case of all of them.

The media has written France off completely, I presume that's what LordHope is referring to, and as evidenced by the worlds view of England rugby fans, what the media is saying does paint the fans in the same light, so a lot of people think All Blacks fans are arrogant because the media are

I've got a lot of time for Chris Rattue, as do several people I know. His articles are always the first ones I turn to. I don't always agree with him of course but the guy speaks a great deal of truth.

Just so you know Aout - there's a whole lot of love the for the French Fans from the NZ Fans. That's all that should really matter.

It'll stop for about 80 minutes on Sunday but after that it'll be back to normal.

When you come in France you will be welcome in my home and drink a good bottle wine talking about this NZ competition!. Good luck for the AB supporters I support the french.
