For talking rot.

Literally popped in for a second to see if anyone was playing :p
Ended playing a round and a half (or so) in a different game - enjoyed it!

Well theres a few in there now, if you join now we could get something going

Folks, I need some help. I follow rugby since 2011, so there are many things I still don't know or don't understand. While I read up some articles or discussions I can see hints from time to time referring to "McCaw is a cheater" =)) I meet these hints rather often, yet no explanation so far. I understand that this is something that has already been discussed for a billion times. I also realize that if I started new thread dedicated to this I, most probably, would be beheaded. So, could you, please, provide me links to some discussions/articles that would explain me the origin of this statement? Or explain briefly why McCaw is called "cheater" by some fans? Thanks.

You've opened a topic that will inevitably end in arguing. McCaw, and every 7 like him have to play the game at the breakdown on the edge of the laws, sometimes that involves taking things beyond them and to some he does that far too often and gets away with it.

And that is as brief as I can really go without getting dragged into the New Zealanders vs Everyone Else verbal spat.

It all stems from the old Wallabies-All Blacks pre-Bledisloe board game night.
McCaw was playing Monopoly as the banker, and Nathan Sharpe took exception to his 'practices'.

Ok, thanks)) I see the issue requires a bit of research as a complicated one))
I was just reading discussion regarding recent RC game vs Wallabies. I've noticed couple of phrases like "Gee, penalties against McCaw! The world is mad!" and the suff like that)) Thought there was some background I did not know.

Everyone cheats in rugby especially 7's it's those that can get away with often that are successful and earn the ire of opposition fans.

So thoughts on Ben Affleck as the new Batman?

Hes probably me least favorite actor so bad but Bale wasn't exactly a distinctive character

As someone who really doesn't give a hot pocket I always thought Affleck was a bit of a joke to movie fans, but then again Argo got some really good reviews so its fair to give the bloke a chance

Argo wasn't as good as the reviews IMO the story was fairly interesting particular as its a true story but the acting wasn't anything special.

I'm actually really happy with Affleck as Batman, and I'm a bit of a comic book nerd.

For every terrible movie Affleck has done (Daredevil, Pearl Harbour, Armaggedon, Gigli), he's done some good ones (Chasing Amy, Argo, The Town, State of Play, Jersey Girl). He's a decent actor and an amazing script writer and director and he fits pretty closely with my vision of Batman which is the 1992 Batman The Animated Series voiced by Kevin Conroy. Bale I never thought really hit that close to Bruce Wayne. He seems to do well under some really good directors as well, I don't know if I'd include Zack Snyder amongst them but hes alright. Either way I think its a good choice. As someone pointed out as well - its not the most challenging role - and there have been some god awful Batmans in Clooney and Kilmer...

I say they should just get someone who looks the part and dub Conroy over him. Instant excellence. :D

I'm not fussed either way about Affleck - he's nowhere near as bad as many are making out, though.
He's a better director, however (better than Snyder) - maybe if he's good as Batman/enjoys it, he'll go on to star in/direct a Justice League film.
