So looks like Jude is on the verge of signing for RM. Will be interesting to see how he develops there. Decent player, but not sure he's worth the insane money BD are asking for him and why Liverpool pulled out. 50m of that seems reflect inflation post WC, when he played well but not brilliantly IMO and the premium of being English.

Agree with Lahm that he's yet to define his role. He's only 19. I see him as a classic number 8 box to box midfielder. Don't think Real fans should expect him to be an out and out replacement for Kroos or Modric.

Life ban, but the reality is that racism and hooliganism in football hasn't gone away and if people pretend that things have improved then they are delusional. Just because they are less blatant, doesn't mean they've stopped being racist or thugs.

I thought this was an interesting video. If you ever watch him play see how many times he does this. Watch if other players do this before they receive the ball.

Pretty good game I thought last night between RM and City. Bit of a weird one as well as City dominated the first half, then Real scored a cracking long range effort from Vinicius and then the second half Real dominated possession but De Bruyne scored a cracker. All to play for in the second leg.

I am not a City fan, and am pretty neutral. But yes big game a real watershed game for City. They win and I see them going all the way and winning the treble.

I follow West Ham, who were always a similar level to City, Newcastle etc. Then the money came in and i wonder what could have been..........
