I found Munich's food scene (and beer) better than Berlin's. The latter is more international which you can get anywhere.

Very sad indeed! RIP. I don't know what the cancer he had or stage it was at but it obviously came back and spread.

Article in the Times today of cutting down on ultra processed food because it interferes with our gut biomes and in turn leads to systemic inflammation, which increases the risk of cancer.

Anyone else follow London eats and Pompey Bites? The life of a food delivery rider. This is their match up in Portsmouth after PB beat LE on his home turf. Still, can't say I envy them with their below hourly min wage and getting drenched. Has to be a second job. A good watch if you wonder what their life is like whilst waiting for your delivery.

Apparently they've been fleecing other restaurants in the Swansea area to the tune of over £1100. Couple now caught and possibly facing jail time.

Two types of Ramen very popular in Japan:

Tonkotsu ramen from Ichiran ramen restaurant, Osaka. Eaten in my own little private booth.



Tsukemen dipping ramen from Tomita. This is cold noodles as opposed to the hot served noodles up above. But love the way it is served by dipping into the broth. After finishing I asked for hot water to be added to the broth to make a soup to dilute it and drink it.

Same goes for olives IMO. Don't mind dunking bread into extra virgin olive oil but olives themselves are pure evil.
