interesting, the Bulls have to question what they're doing at this point, not going for lineouts with Matfield and their ball security seems questionable at best, nice opening try by Spies yet then he turns around the throw the intercept to JP Pietersen to go nearly have the length of the field for 7 points, Percy should have bagged that last penalty before halftime - pretty amazing physicality in this one, bodies flying everywhere plus the Smit attempting a drop goal

Second half - bulls camped out in sharks half come away with nothing, the sharks come back to drive their way over, unbelievable just when i thought the bulls had blown their chances Habana scoots through inside for a try at the end to make it 18-19, then the conversion is kicked for 20-19

I feel sorry for the Sharks, Steyn made an absolute mess of that conversion and that along with their inability to just keep hold of the ball until the whistle cost them the ***le.

not the greatest day for steyn, two horrible attempts at dropping goals as well, it really could have gone either way though not much in this one, the bulls could have won comfortably if they had made some better decisions throughout the game

That was a great match. Both sides made errors but that only added to the drama. I felt the Bulls were going to0 score near the end though especially when Habana got the ball as the Sharks had huge holes in their Defence. f***ING AWESOME GAME!!!!

to give Habana that much space in the middle of the field is ridiculous, the Sharks must be kicking themselves, fantastic nailbiter towards the end, real back and forth battle throughout

Won the game, then prceeded to screw up the conversion and CRUCIALLY not kick out after the whistle had gone, basically doing unto themselves what they had done to the Crusaders.

Idiots.

Still awesome game, (*even my bulls friends believe when the bulls "won" that ball on the ground near the end of the game, it was rather dodgy, really dodgy*).

all in all a very nailbiting final.

Well you make your own luck. The Bulls played **** and the Sharks deserved to win. But rugby is played for 80 minutes and not 79.

I wonder what awards the officials got after the match? Probably each a f***in rule book.

Best final in super 14 history ever. So sorry for the sharks who was the best team for 77 mins, you oakes where cheated. On the bright side there's always S14 2008 and even better still the trophy is in SA.

Hope little Steyn learned a valuable lesson, when the hooter goes and your side's ahead kick the ball out. We don't want that kind of stuff when you're in the green and gold.

Amazing day for South Africa!

Final at home......then one of the most incredible last minute drama finishers! What were the Sharks thinking???? Did Steyn want to get one more try or something? In the excitement was he thinking that it was a round robin game and was trying to score to deny the Bulls a bonu point for losing within 6 :lol: .....almost as crazy as when the Crusaders tried to be greedy and go for a bonus point after the hooter....only for the Sharks to score a try and for the conversion to win it. Those vital points denying the Crusaders a home semi and final.

I saw the first 20 mins of the first half..fell asleep..woke up and watched about 10 mins of the 2nd half..fell asleep and woke up just as 1 of the Bulls players was on the crossbar

Was an energetic game from what I saw!

You have to feel for the Sharks!!
