Fifa 11

A friend of mine works for EA in Holland and I played the demo they made for conventions
 
It's amazing! The goalkeeper feature is wonderful. Have been wanting this ever since they started the Be a Pro-mode.
 
Getting hyped for this game guys, gonna be awesome this year it seems, wanna play the demo but gonna hold out till I get the full game.

Peoples impressions are mostly very positive about the additions/changes.

Should I...shouldn't I......nearly 2 gb, not worth it I reckon.

OMFG the demo's out already, damn !!!! Gotta get my ps3 set up with my new student house. gotta get my fix :D :D :D can't wait for this. Almost as exited for this as i am for Rugby 2012/ RLL :D :D

Playing the demo I am already enjoying it more than Fifa 10 YAY!

Fifa 10 penalised you if you used anything less than assisted. It was too hard to play manual or even semi manual. You could not get very creative and put balls into the space where you wanted it to go. The assisted through ball went into space but sometimes you wanted it to go one way and it would go another.

I think because I am a purist when it comes to soccer games....I want something that rewards play that emulates real life...rather than rewarding ping pong. Seriously how many teams in real life can string together 10+ perfect one touch passes? Eventually someone in real life will trap the ball before passing...yet in Fifa 10 they one touch pass all over the place all thew way to the goal mouth.

Fifa 11 has a slower game play...which means you can't ping it around.....YAY!

Fantastic how the skill moves come out MUCH quicker on Fifa 11.....the right stick knock forward is much more responsive....same as the step over and exit. I like how you can ball roll it to one side and INSTANTLY knock it back the other way. It responds better so that has made transitions between different skills moves much more effective. For instance you can VERY QUICKLY stop/shield/straddle and then knock the ball forward.

The shooting has returned back to Fifa 08...which IMO was always better than 09 or 10.

I like the coop view...can see a whole lot more than tele.

Only played 45 mins of the demo and already my first impressions are very positive.

Yep gonna make NZ my home team and play with them online.....stupid me lol!
 
Not too impressed with the demo if I'm being completely honest but to be fair it was only a demo that allowed you to play 3 minute halves and with limited choice of teams so it is hard to form a general impression just based on this. I've also heard that a fully licensed Wales team will be included as well so I will definitely be buying it. I've got my fingers crossed that Tottenham will be 5 stars as well.
 
Three minute halves is way too short a time to get an impression.
 
I have been playing this for a couple of days now and really do like it...

I have always been on the fence when it comes to Pro Evo vs Fifa, however I think that Fifa is just getting better and better...
 
Always been one for Fifa rather than Pro Evo and have always bought Fifa. Spent some time on both demos, still prefer Fifa but I've got to say that for the first time I didn't mind Pro Evo.
 
Chipped shot is smaller by heaps than Fifa 10...much better...you can get right up to the goalie now and wait till he dives at the ball before chipping.

yeh cant wait for this one..player models look freekishly real...and the player control is much better..feels less animated nd more fluent..cant wait for it...

Hey kinkon....gee forgot the password eh lol! Get off the drugs man haha...

The moves look pretty good and they come out much quicker now...actually the player responds much better with dribbling WITHOUT doing anything fancy....really cool...makes you look good and all you are doing is basic moving around.

Fantastic how the passes do NOT go straight to the receivers toes.....and also good how if you are not facing where you are passing the pass is weaker. Now we have to play PROPER football.
