just have a look on the last philip burger try for USAP (Perpignan, France) vs Munster, a funny vid edit by a french USAP and Burger fan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFlhyP9rukI
I don't know if he's THE fastest player, but he's really fast, crazy and fantastic. now in perpignan we call him "beep beep"[/b]
Haha speedy gonzalez I use to watch that cartoon all the time. He looks quick alright kinda hard to judge because of the quality of the video but still funny to watch.

Here is another good example of why I rate Ryan Kankowski as one of the fastest loose forwards in the game. It's between him, Pierre Spies and Tom Croft i think.

Notice, it's a winger (Drew Mitchell) chasing after him...

Gotta love Aussie commentating. Great effort from Kanko and bad luck to the Sharks in the end. To be fair to Mitchell, though, he had to turn and run from a dead start (after he bought the step).

Pfft. Same excuse the Habana fanboys used when Ngwenya smoke him... But yeah, if it was an 80m sprint, Mitchell might have caught him.

I hope your not implying I'm a fan of Mitchell; perish the thought. Just wanted to point out that no-one (except maybe Nokwe/Mjekevu/Chavanga) would catch Kanko at speed from a standing start and only 50 odd meters to the tryline.

You mean the Bulls winger? Not a chance. Chavhanga is the fastest player in the game today.

I don't know about that. Once upon a time, sure. But he has had alot of injuries and is getting a bit older, I'm note too sure if he still is the fastest. That being said he is still extremly quick and I can't think of anyone faster atm other then the USA sevens player Dallas Robinson but he dosn't count cause he hasen't played the 15 aside version of the game.

You can see Mitchell catching uo with him towards the end. It's amazing how Kanko doesn't break stride even when he has to side step.

I wish they'd do a race like they did in RL... or just announce 100m times.

Anyhow, it's not really that important, cos Ugo Monye is the quickest guy in the 6Nations but I'd rather have Bowe, Shane Williams etc. etc. in my team...

in his prime i'd say Sireli Bobo, but Bobo is in his 30's now so he might have slowed down a little bit, but he's still fast, right now i'd say maybe Nokwe

Watch at 1:00, he has to be in the world top 3. I organized a sevens tournament in my ingeneer school in France two years ago, he finished best try scorer with the Pretoria team. BTW, for all french people reading this link, you should really come:

French winger Marc Andreu played this tournament too, and many other young guns who will be international players soon.

The Highlanders 11 is way faster than the tryscorer there
