Oooooh, I just now saw that extra "s". So, it's not "Fatest Player" then...
Right, so Matt Dunning would definitely be the wrong answer.

HAHA imagine Mike Catt trying to tackle Lomu at full speed, let alone wen he is stumbling :focus: :injured:

LOL!!! THAT WOULD BE FUNNY!!! :lol2tn: :lol2tn: :lol2tn:

Tonderai Chavanga might be quickest in a straight line, but you can't neglect the foot speed players like Jason Robinson and Shane Williams have. Their 40m might not be as impressive, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're better at penetrating and breaking the line because they're so illusive, Rokocoko has a fairly strong step as well.

how can you say no contest when he got smoked? by 2 people

Yes but Habana was at a standing start those times, well certainly against Ngwenya.

Shux he is a fat guy! haha that guy is gifted man, in that shaped and can still do what he used to do is amazing!

Indeed, he could be one of the greatest ever if he had the desire to get fit. Shame that will never happen :wah:

Varndell i rekon is the fastest, but i would choose Habana

I think thats actually a decent call, Varndell maybe isnt the fastest but hes certainly quicker than hes given credit for. Probably as quick as Habana.

I urge everyone to get Jake Whites Biography, In Black And White.

In his book he states, and i quote: " Tonderai is the fastest player i have ever coached - quicker than Bryan Habana."

That should pretty much seal this case. Another fact is that tonderai ran for the Zimbabwean 100m and 200m sprinting team. He also ran against Takudzwa Ngwenya, and managed to beat him. So here is your list, and pretty much fact, and not opinion.

1. Tonderai Chavanga (SA)
2. Takudzwa Ngwenya (USA)
3. Bryan Habana (SA)
