Cheers .. What backline do u see the aussies having v uruaguay, will it be all change.. Also maybe laidlaw be worth a punt with th kicking as he may well play v the usa aswell?

My general rule of thumb for the big nations who are backing up against a minor after a big game is that all bench players and unused players from the first game will play plus what ever else is necessary.

That should mean Phipps, Cooper, Toomua, Beale, Tomane, Speight and Mitchell all see game time. Not sure who plays fullback in that scenario though? Maybe one of the ozzies can help us out. I think Beale is their full back cover, but if thats the case I;m not sure who would start in the centres v Uruguay? Perhaps Mitchell starts at FB?

Id be no expert but id agree with all that.. I think theres a small chance Horne and maybe cooper might play both games , no?

Good call there mate, Cheika said he will change the whole team next day. Just wondering what AB'S i should keep in my team after tomorrows game. i reckon Milner Scudder and Savea wont play any part v Georgia?

The All Blacks have implied that from the Georgia game on they will generally play their best team. So look to the team that played against Argentina for a heads up as to who that is. Kneehole is supposed to be back for the Georgia game. Messam will likely start in that one too (if fit) and Kaino will get a rest. One would expect Whitlock will get a rest as well. I personally think Savea will play every game this world cup - we only have 3 specialist wingers so unless they want to start someone out of position then 2 of 3 will play each game.

In short, from Georgia on I will be picking guys like McCaw, Read, DC, the Smiths, Coles, Retalick, Savea, Nonu etc - they guys who I believe will be starting in the RWC final should they get there.

You got me beat - I'm about 100 places below you. How many transfers have you used so far?

IMO this next game is the hardest to tell. Game 1 = Best team, Game 2 = everyone else, Game 3? They say it will be the best team with Naholo to get his first start, so one of your wingers won't play at all, and likely fekitoa will be out all together and Barrett on the bench. That's if they stay true to their word.

Hope you had the 2 Kiwi wingers :)

I'm kicking myself. Had Skudder in my team, and dunno why I took him out. Think so I could accommodate Folau and Mike Brown. I've avoided last thanks to Imhoff's 2 tries against Georgia! Need a few of the English boys to step up overnight, and the South African bench. It's my first year doing this stuff, so I probably haven't used the transfer system in the smartest way at times.

I reckon Savea wont play next day, hes played first two full games hasnt he? Why Fekitoa out altogether?

Like I said, the ABs have said they will play their best team from here on in. Fekitoa wasn't in for the first game, and if anything SBW has cemented his spot more since then so....

If the ABs are true to their word then the team for Georgia will be the same as for Arg + Naholo who is subject to a fitness test.

Savea? Perhaps, although I personally think he will start and NMS will be out.

The cream always rises to the top fullahs ;) I've used way too many transfers though :(

The first good day pulls me (Midget Throwing Aftershave Drinkers) into contention thanks to good picks from Australia and Ireland (the importance of using subs at the opportune time).

FYI, the above table is wrong as scores are still being processed. Yesterday, Quade Cooper was given 6 points, today he has 17, but players' totals are yet to be updated, meaning that anyone who had Cooper in their side has 11 more points than shown above. This may go for other players, but Cooper is the only one I've noticed.

Well done! How far behind are you? I reckon on average trades a probably worth 10 or so points each.

He's 71 points behind you. My average trade so far (I've made 6) has been worth around 10 points (not helped because I subbed in a player who wasn't playing in a drunken stupor). However this relies on bringing in players who will have plenty of opportunities to score points, about half of these opportunities have now past, which is why I can't understand the logic behind saving subs for a late surge.

Yeah, now I understand the game/scoring a bit more I would have made my trades (and se my initial team) differently as well. I've made 8, but a few wasted ones as well.

The only reason to hold on to some trades (I can see) is to make sure you don't end up with players not playing at all come the end of round play. 7 trades should get me over the line I think.

By the way, did fantasyrugger change the rules again? I noticed they did it once earlier regarding the points it costs you to make a trade, but I was pretty sure initially the rules stated you could only make 3 trades for the whole round robin play, now it states 3 per round. Did I misread that earlier?

This fantasyrugger site is a joke - they've gone and changed the fixtures for round 3 at some point! I had copied and pasted them a while back and now they have changed them. Pretty frustrating given I picked my team thinking Tonga had 2 games this round!

It's one thing having a crap site, another thing changing the rules constantly while the game is being played.
