Whatsup!

I see we are in the www.testrugby.com game, but here are a couple of others for those of you who cant get enough of fantasy rugby! Join up the mini leagues as there are prizes to be won for some top mini leagues!

Game 1:
www.westernmailfantasyrugby.com

The Western Mail Fantasy 6 Nations is back for 2008! With an incredible £5,000 to be won there are no excuses not to get involved!

The competition is sponsored by Coral.co.uk, who is offering the prize fund as well as numerous opportunities to win tickets to watch live rugby!

Selecting a team could not be easier!
Study the player lists and select a team of 15 players, with eight forwards and seven backs. Your team will score points based on the player’s real life performance during the 2008 6 Nations competition.
You will have a budget of £100m to spend on your players â€" so make sure you look for some bargains in the list.

Your players will score points based on the following system:

All Players
Rule Points
Starting XV 4
Sub Appearance 2
Win 2
Draw 1
Lose -2
Man of the Math (Official RBS) 5
Penalty 3
Conversion 2
Drop Goal 3
Yello Card -5
Red Card -10
Backs
Try 5
Forwards
Try 10

It costs a fiver to enter, and you can buy all 12 of your transfers up front for an extra £3. Alternatively you can buy your transfers individually at 50p a piece (minimum online spend of £2.)
So delay no longer! Log on to www.westernmailfantasyrugby.com and start selecting your winning teams now!

Game 2:
http://irishtimesrugby.fantasyleague.com/

Free to play and players divided into forwards, scrum half, fly half and outside backs.

Prizes minimal, but worth a laugh, the players are not valued, so you can pretty much pick a bunch of the best players without to much hassle!

Scoring Points

Your players score points for your Fantasy Rugby team based on their performances in Six Nations matches as follows:

Event Points
Full Appearance (player starts and finishes the game) 3 pts
Part Appearance (player starts but doesn't finish the game) 2 pt
Substitute Appearance (player comes on as a substitute) 1 pt
Try 5 pts
Assist (last pass, charge down or kick to the try scorer) 3 pts
Penalty Kick or Conversion (designated kicker only) 1 pt

Game 3:

http://scrum.fantasyleague.com/Index.aspx

The Scrum.com game which has been sponsored by Landrover. The prizes are not too great, however look like they could be quite a lot of fun.

It is run by the same dudes who are doing the Irish Times game, so all the graphics etc are the same. The only difference here is that when selecting a team, you select each player in their individual positions. Otherwise point scoring is based on the same mechanic as above.

For some reason I cannot add individual posts for each game which is a little irritating...

Game 4:

www.testrugby.com

One of the best fantasy games in terms of stats, however the prizes are dismal. Would be good to get a large bunch in this game.

I have already set up a league for a couple of mates, and I cannot set up another one, so the leage name is:
Springboks Wanted

Feel free to join if you want! Otherwise the official stickied post has a proper league to be part of!
