European Rugby - Rescheduled Fixtures

This has to be the poorest ever Munster team I have ever seen.....

Have Toyota left/been sacked as lead sponsor of the Irish boys?

Bank Of Ireland are back few years. Toyota contract expired and on renewals Bank Of Ireland had better deal.

This is embarrassing.
They say a yellow card is worth, what, 10pts?
A red card at halftime should be worth 40.

Currently it's worth -10.

Can't disagree. I wouldn't say embarrassing though just we couldn't compete with their power.

In the Stadium here and even some Stade people said it was a red. It may not have been malicious but 2 clear things are seen.
1. He went near the eyes. That was nothing but stupidity from the player.
2. If you look at slow motion his fingers go inward as its a grabbing motion so that just shows you obviously don't kno rules well.
.

The Munster player doesn't even blink afterwards. If you get a finger into your eyes, you will be in agony. You can't keep your eye open. You can't see.

What a try by Sekou Makalou. 3 fend offs. Side step. Boom. 1st pro contract only 19.

Trying to be fair here.......the Munster lad looked straightaway at the linesman whilst pointing to his eye!

I also still think that the hand went to the face and in doing so the finger ended in the eye more by physics than intent. Real time speed would show this and slow motion replays can exaggerate matters.

However, put you hand on someone's face, then you have a big chance of catching an eye and a red card!

On the basis of the slow motion, I do not feel Bevan or Owens had any choice but they should have looked again at real time.....

This is my point thanks Tony.
CJ doesn't have to go down in agony. The man puts his hand in the face. I don't know was it intentional but it was a red.

I would only add that I do think any ban, which there must be I suppose, should not be very long.....

So did I... until I saw the Toulon team:

15 James O'Connor
14 Josua Tuisova
13 Mathieu Bastareaud
12 Ma'a Nonu
11 Bryan Habana
10 Quade Cooper
9 Eric Escande

1 Florian Fresia
2 Guilhem Guirado
3 Levan Chilachava
4 Jocelino Suta
5 Konstantine Mikautadze
6 Juan Smith
7 Juan Fernandez Lobbe (capt)
8 Duane Vermeulen

Don't think Cooper is the answer at 10 for Toulon. They're beatable at the moment. They miss Giteau and look unsettled. Laporte is on his way out and he doesn't have same influence. Tuisova is dynamite.

Someone forgot to tell Oyannax they're only supposed to be a Bonus Point gimme. Starting Humphreys? Now there's a near criminally incompetent decision. Complete arrogance to field a second string in France no matter the team.

On his feet? His belly was holding him up!!

Also his forearms were flat on the ground. Like feeding time at the zoo. Anyway Kiss snatched victory from the jaws of defeat there Jeeeeesus. Not quite as much depth there as you think Kissy.

Nonu and Bastareaud vs Ford and Eastmond is going to be.....interesting.

I never recognise Worsley when I see him on TV - they should make him wear the ear tape at all times.
Also he's so soft spoken/vaguely posh - wouldn't have expected it.

I don't understand why Cook doesn't start more. I like a 9 who does all the basics well and consistently, which Cook seems to.

Like Loz commentating.

Looks like Ford gets Bumped off, that because he did get bumped off.

Fortunately Bastas has been eating butter pre game and has some still on his fingers.

Aye, he's so far ahead of Matawalu as a 9 he can't even see him in the rear view mirror. Only thing I can think is they're wanting to get their money's worth.

Bath are performing very well so far, good scrummaging and some nice kicks from Ford.
Did make me laugh when they said Ford got one over Basta, as if he intended to make him knock on when he was being launched into orbit  It was just Basta screwing himself over.

ALSO I really really hate that pilou pilou ******** pregame.
