I can honestly say that I think Bath were awarded the trophy when they beat you 33-13 in the union match.
We did have a 40+ man playing for us.Originally posted by St_Helens_RLFC@Jun 15 2004, 10:29 AM
My mistake, thought it was less than that.
Youve been going on for 6 months how England have no chance of losing...Originally posted by St_Helens_RLFC+Jun 15 2004, 03:39 AM--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (St_Helens_RLFC @ Jun 15 2004, 03:39 AM)</div><!--QuoteBegin-RipperAh, but this is the difference Ripper.@Jun 14 2004, 07:48 PM
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
To think the Poms have the cheek to call All Blacks chokers
We don't turn up to a tournament proclaiming ourselves as "the best team in the world" or "the best team in this tournament." [/b]
No chance of winning more like.Originally posted by Ripper+Jun 15 2004, 08:07 PM--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Ripper @ Jun 15 2004, 08:07 PM)</div>Originally posted by St_Helens_RLFC@Jun 15 2004, 03:39 AM

No -I've merely been stating the obvious - that England will be there or there abouts.Originally posted by Ripper@Jun 15 2004, 08:07 PM

Well Dan you seem so full of knowledge about the Irish during the war, just enlighten everyone on the forum and tell them what they did during the war.Originally posted by St_Helens_RLFC@Jun 14 2004, 12:13 AM
Wouldn't be the first time you Irish have supported Europeans over England......... the first time was 65 years ago.....

Don't say "journalist" when you mean "trainee journalist."Originally posted by An Tarbh@Jun 16 2004, 09:33 AM
Would have thought that a journalist would not make such baseless accusations.
It's all irrelevant.Originally posted by An Tarbh@Jun 16 2004, 09:33 AM
Had a feeling you knew f*** all. In fact you'll find it was British ships that refuelled in Irish ports not the Nazis. Any information that Dev had on German U Boats was passed on unofficially to Churchill. British planes were allowed fly over Ireland. British prisoners were allowed to cross the border to the north while the Germans were kept in the Curragh. Not to mention the couple of hundred thousand Irishmen who gave their lives for the British army. Would have thought that a journalist would not make such baseless accusations.
When I say "irrelevant" it was with regards to the fact that despite the very trivial things you've mentioned (save the brave men giving their lives) your country still stayed neutral in a war against pure evil.Originally posted by An Tarbh@Jun 16 2004, 09:45 AM
All this nonsense simply because I cheered for the French over England. Irrelevent absolutely not.
