A rather fratricide game comming on, with most of the players playing against a few club mates, or usual rivals. While France kept the same 24 players that beat Australia (the 23 that played plus Yohann Maestri), Argentina made three changes to the starting XV, replacing injured Hernandez and Contepomi with Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino and Marcelo Bosch, who just came back from club duties, while Horacio Agulla and Gonzalo Camacho trade places on the starting field.
France is likely to play a very similar side, with Maestri probably coming back on for Suta. Some debate is going on about Debaty at THP, usually a LHP for Clermont. I would have retained Attoub, but let's just hope Mas doesn't get injured early on.
Bookies give the Pumas as 3/1 underdogs. Personnally, I'm a lot less confident than that. Game will be played in Lille, with expected temperatures around 2°C.

I got France for this one. I think we'll see less inconsistency from France with PSA behind our squad, I see this French squad more realistic and less prone to constantly underestimate opponents or just drop the level of play after 50min/60min or so...we seem focused, and when we are, the world knows what can happen.

The scrum should be a good test, again. They have a pretty solid one too. They can kick now apparently. And they have some guys who can create plays and run...Imhoff obviouslt the big revelation, a fantastic winger.
But above all I think their defense has been tested most of all their attributes. From this summer's tournament to a try-less Welsh performance a few days ago.

I'm positive they'll score a try. At least. And surely we'll get ours.
Should be a blast, but a rather tight game. The Pumas are playing their hearts out these past few months, really smt to prove to the world.

France possibly will win, not in a easy way... with Bosch & Amorosino now in Pumas team, they face a very agressive team

dude uhh..you've GOT TO STOP WITH THOSE LITTLE BLACK NINJAS !!! :p

yeah, good game awaiting...as long as it's a good effort, we should only be proud of our boys (both nations I mean)...
France shouldn't lose this easily if they do, but I predict a nice victory...good momentum, good in all sectors of the game.

And I think Argentina still has to prove itself in the kicking dept.

Lol. Ok, if Pumas make a win (a draw too) against Les Bleus, I promise that I will not use ninja icon... Now serious, it will be a great game!

France announced the return of injured Yoann Maestri as the only change. Squads edited into the original post.

Alright then...good deal to me...

:ninj:

Should be a great game! Think Pumas might actually upset, need to see some consitency from the French (good performances always followed by sup par ones)

i think is going to be a hi score match. for both sides. the side with less mistakes is going to be the winner. have to say Pumas!!!

Agulla replace Camacho... he played very well the last match. Maybe tiredness?
Landajo-Sanchez this couple amazed me, it could be a nice oportunity for them to keep their places.

Great news, the roof will be closed after FFR asked Argentina their aggreement.

First time a match will take place in a closed arena in France, can't wait to hear how deep La Marseillaise will sound !

Looking forward to this match. Especially since I'll be there. Leaving for Lille tomorrow morning. Should be a 2,5 hour drive from my house.

lucky *******, I'm stuck here in Qatar !!...but we've got France 2 here at least...<_<

This match could go either way EASILY. Highly volatile expectations...

Think this has the makings to be the match of the Autumn series. Will try to find it online somewhere so i can watch! Really hard to call it. Probably give France the slight edge, although the pumas are coming off some fantastic and consistent form.
