well now the world cup is over its time for reinvention.. who do you think should replace cueto? who should be 10 who would your ideal centre partnership be...etc...?

Hard to say, you could make several sets of backs with players in/around the EPS/Saxons all aged mid-20s and younger

9. Care
10. Flood
11. Sharples
12. Allen
13. Tuilagi
14. Ashton
15. Foden

9. Youngs
10. Clegg
11. Benjamin
12. Twelvetrees
13. Trinder
14. Armitage
15. Brown

9. Simpson
10. Burns
11. Armitage
12. Farrell
13. Barritt
14. Homer
15. Goode

9.Care
10.Anyone but Flood.
11.Sharples or give Banahan a proper chance to prove himself.
12.Twelvetrees.
13.Tuilagi.
14.Ashton.
15.Foden.

That'll be tricky. It'll take him the next 6 years to turn around and start travelling north again.

i like banahan tbqh.. :L not sure if i liek teh ahston and him combo... id say someoen like sharples.. or wade.. but wade is to young
and for 10 who else is there bar flood who is ready?

10.Anyone but Flood.
Over the past 4 years, England have looked at their best when Flood plays well and recently, he's only played badly for England when players in front of him have played badly. When he plays himself into good form, I'm confident he'll merit his selection. (Although I do hope other players put their hands up too.)

but wade is to young
He's older than North...

Wade will be involved, either Saxons or full squad, during the Six Nations (Saxons more likely) I think

Would it be disgracefully ignorant of me to say, 'who?!' ?

In a word:
Yes.

:p

Made the step up to Premiership rugby very well as well - been on fire for Wasps this season

Always reminds me of Jason Robinson when he plays, that insane acceleration combined with a nice step. And the ability to ignite something out of nothing, huge potential.

The obvious question mark over Wade has to be his defence. That aside, he is siiiiick.

Well he's (slightly) bigger than Shane Williams, and Williams has coped very well. As long as his technique is good...

Not to put too fine a point on it, it isn't. But he's got time to work on that. And, frankly, if he can do that sort of thing at international level, he might well get a pass.

If Ashton can make it as an international winger with his defence, I'm sure Wade can too :p

Plenty to replace Cueto, Sharples, Wade etc.

The 10 shirt should stay with Flood but you have Ford and Farrell in the wings.

The centres is more complicated, at 13 we have Manu or even Tait if he finds form but 12 as ever is a problem. Turner-Hall is playing well and could be worth a shot and we could always hope that Flutey finds form but what will happen is the England managment will try every player who is not an out and out 12 there ( players who are normally wingers, Fly halfs, Fullbacks or props) and come the 2015 world cup they will be hoping Tindell (who took to drink after the breakdown of his marrige) will be fit as he offers 'leadership' and 'strong defence'.

Not that is matters because until the slow ball at the breakdown gets sorted we could have a backline of:

9.G Edwards
10 D Carter
11. Lomu
12.Greenwood
13.BOD
14.Habana
15.Cullen

And we would still win games with mulipules of 3!

I'm a big fan of Wade. Great prospect, and wingers tend to look their best at a young age. I think he should be taken a chance on and shown some patience as he really does look like the most exciting English player I have seen since Robinson. He's tiny, but so quick and agile. People can say he's too young but Rokocoko, Lomu, Cullen, Guildford, North, O'Connor, Beale, Toeava etc were all twenty years old or younger when they made their debut.

Flutey is to old, I'd play Allen the first matches of the SixNations and see if he can step up from club-level to test level. If he does, we should be fine with Barrit as backup maybe? And Farrel in the wings 2, give him some matches and gain experience (I'd get Farrel/Allen ready for 2015. We should be fine at SH, 2nd centre, Wings, Fullbacks. And we should be fine at FH if Flood can get his form back up and keep it until the RWC, but at the same time give Ford etc. some experience. Really hoping Tait gets his form back btw, as Tuilagi needs some competition. Tait was awesome btw back then, better than Tuilagi IMO.

Definately worth looking into - I hope.they properly try out some new players and not just replace Cueto with Armitage and leave it at that
