Is that now 5 or 6 lineouts in the 22 and no try? That is a **** poor return. Had we gone for the posts with many of these kicks, we might actually be within touching distance.
That's what I mean about wings. I like both on their day but they aren't in form nor offer anything over many alternatives we see week in and out in the prem.

Mays always been a weaker overall 'footballe' than most of the wingers we've had during EJ - but at his best and fastest in open play he makes up for it. Not these days methinks.
I'm struggling to remember an England any less clinical than this under EJ. And also now realising we have come to expect games against NZ to be close, even under Lancaster. This feels like MJ days gulf between the sides which is damming since our players are certainly better.
