England v Samoa

Looks like HMS Banahan has run aground!

Either that or a haaaayeeeoouuuge block of granite that is as mobile as Andre the Giant with no legs stuck in quicksand being weighed down by an anchor.

It was a great game, great atmo in the stadium.
Good to meet Teh Mite and have a beer. Pity Samoa didn't win. Goal kicking could have been better.
But still a great weekend out.

man these scrums have been so inconsistent, usually in favour of the home team. i watched the replay, when the scrum would hold up fine the english halfback just stood there refusing to put the ball in, this should be a penalty to samoa because he has to put the ball in, but no the ref calls reset, what happens when they reset the scrum? england push in the scrum early which should be another penalty to samoa, but instead the ref ignores it and england have an unfair advantage pushing the samoa scrum back when really its because they pushed before the ball was put in and the crowd go crazy thinking their scrum is so strong, i hope this doesn't happen again this week. of course whenever the away team didn't put the ball in a scrum when its still holding up the ref calls penalty for the home team every time
