England v France

This is the semi final of the Two biggest powers in Northern Hemisphere Rugby... Both teams deserve to be in the final in the way they have performed this World Cup, picking themselves up after defeat to battle their way to the World Cup Semi Finals... This is the underdog semi final tho, with the two teams who started on a high and continuing through the knock out stages...
Lets represent the Northern Hemisphere and show them how Rugby should be played...

Starting to get nervous. I can't do what I have done in England's last two massive matches (Final 2003, last weekend) and stay in bed past the pre match talk, and then go straight into the game.

And without the sun in the sky it always feels more..dangerous, like its a bigger match than usual.

At the moment I am supporting England, we have taking a lot of stick over the last few years, from pessimistic arses and the media, and now we could slam into the final.

But, if France do win, I will support them next weekend, with my being half French.

But whoever wins, Nike is happy.
 
Come on England, I have this feeling in my little toe that tells me you boys will win this one. :):)
 
The nerves are as high as they have ever been for me, I would be happy if we went out with a valent performance tonight, I would even happier if we went out and WON this game... We CAN do this...

Who remembers the last time England played against Chabal... as I remember he did .......... nothing. We shut him down and he was less of an impact player than the ball.

damn, I was hoping he'#d be commentating. He's been the only commentator worth listening too in this WC. Miles Harrison is a plonker.

not so sure, they're just checking a few things we expected, such as robinson's poor kicking. 6-5 at half time, the game hasn't begun yet

Until just now (45 minutes) England hadn't truly threatened the French except for the few seconds during Lewseys try. Wilkinson kicks a penalty (47 minutes).
Score: ENG 8 - 9 FRA

God, Clerc should have scored there and then, f**king superb tackle by Worsley!!
 
The French are bombing tries left right and centre. A number of times they have had overlaps out wide and still try to run it up through the middle :wall:
 
Both teams are too afraid of losing to actually try anything. Feckin awful match to watch.
