England Six Nations Squad 2025

Langdon maybe? Was in the a squad last week and I think Pollock has been in camp since round 2. Agreed anyway.
I remember Langdon being in camp before too, though, even after George came back

Edit: just scrolled back on twitter and we had a 36 man squad at the start of the last game week

Even bigger waste not bringing a young lock in!

I mean we've got a number of 12s now, and we had a bunch before that ended up going elsewhere due to lack of interest from England - I blame the England coaches as much as anyone tbh
I agree with the sentiment, but Redpath is the only one who I think would have made it with England and I'd argue we showed plenty of interest in him even before it was really warranted.

Tompkins is a committed and courageous player who I like, but he's no better than any of the options we have in or around the squad.

Johnny Williams had bags of potential but has never really made it. Largely due to cancer I'd say. He's another one who got a decent bit of interest though.

I did think Lockett might get a call up after his performance in the A game.

I can only assume Coles has proved his fitness.

Yeah they must have decided Coles can play 40 at least. Lockett did play well for the As.

I thought there might be a bit more of an immediate reward for some of better performers from the A game like Lockett and Kenningham. Perhaps it was more a case of booking seats for the summer tour?

Hard to know which way Farrell will go with Lions selection but on recent form, I would think lock and back row would be some of the areas most likely to see an English presence.

Yeah I think the summer tour is going to be a big one for several positions. I expect a few of the young props to go. And centre will be a huge focus, alongside developing a few more locks.

Actually this could be a critical tour as we really need to develop at Scrum halve, and hooker aswell.

Gonna be real silly with the centre partnership is Lawrence/Slade all summer because they want continuity/leadership in the backline

You forget that literally only Slade is capable of running the defensive system! He's the only one that can shoot up and around in the intricate hammer system.

Every other player is incapable of doing that
