England in the West Indies

holy mother that's some collapse from England, 49-7 now. Typical you watch this for 3 days, along comes the rugby and suddenly the test match gets interesting.

and now it's over, hopefully this series isn't like the last Ashes where every time I fell asleep there were major developments in the game.

Still though on the evidence of the first 3 days, the Windies were dominant and deserve to take a 1-0 lead.

How embarrseing!

Bell and Collingwood are so poor, they are lucky to be in that test side!

yet will he be even dropped. I just don't get this English obesession with Bell he doesn't have the consistent mentality for test match cricket

Owais Shah is constantly overlooked as much as Ramperkash was! Yes Ramperkash was not great in test cricket but that was early on in his career!

I expect Shah and Rashid to come in!

the way Shah was talking the other day he doesn't expect to be picked certainly in any of the West Indies test be they at home or in the Caribbean. This was also after Bell failing yet again in his first innings.

having seen the wickets, Taylor bowled some absolute corkers, especially that delivery to get rid of Pietersen.

was interesting when Hussain was in the commentary box with Tony Cozier at one point and they were talking about the calypso collapso, with Nasser slightly winding up Cozier, boot's on the other foot now.

the Collingwood dismissal certainly made him look like a bit of a fool, running 2 before realising he was out. How did Flintoff miss it as well though.

I reckon theres a click (sp) in the England changing room where mates are still picked and im afraid Bell and Collingwood are them. These lads only preform when its their last innings for England! Both of whom scored 100 last summer when they faced the axe!

well then if they start in Barbados then it should be let known to them that it's last chance saloon. England should be reading the riot act to all the players though after that test match. They really need to front up on Friday.

Reckon the IPL Auction also had a factor on these players no matter what they said!

pretty poor excuse and not in any way valid considering there were West Indies players involved in the auction as well.

Its not really a poor excuse, i dislike England in the cricketing world! The way they treated Fletch was a shambles!

England were crap end of!

Cooley was part of the Fletch set up! Of course Cooley was the man with the bowling! Neither Ottis Gibson or Kevin (or Keith) Shine have done the job!

yeah but he left before Fletcher. The Aussies saw a good thing while they could get it.

West Indies have won the toss and have decided to put England in. Hines in for Xavier Marshall is the only change to the West Indies side. England have finally dropped Ian Bell, it's taken long enough, Owais Shah comes in and Steve Harmison is left out for James Anderson. The one thing about Shah though is has he been left out too long, he really should have been given a chance long before now.
