Nowell wouldn't win it that's for sure
Nowell is not the fastest but he's hardly slow. His strong point is being an elusive runner in tight spaces and work rate rather than out and out pace. Jason Robinson also wasn't actually that fast in a straight sprint compared to some other wingers.
Are you ok?
Can see what he's getting at, any one remember Howlett absolutely smoking Robinson? Over 20m Robinson was rapid, but beyond that he wasn't near the quickest sprinter.
This one?

IMO Robsinon has to make at around 10m on Howlett both run an angled line. Would also point out that Howeltt is pretty damn quick aswell.
god the comments on that video are hilarious. Esp when Varndell is the best winger ever.
Either way not sure why Nowell is being compared to Robinson in any way both completely different players.
Asafo Aumua would give most wingers a run for their money.Robinson was rapid. Not THE quickest. But way up there. I think there's a few 7's and hookers out there who are quicker than Nowell.

I'd be surprised if he's not on the ABs EOYT.That guy is insane. He's going places.
Nowell is CuetoEither way not sure why Nowell is being compared to Robinson in any way both completely different players.
Cueto had a better strike rate for club and country than Nowell has
Only really **** players get to be top try scorer in Premiership history (....for like 2years) though
Anyone remember last 6 Nations when Nowell back about 70 metres from the opposite wing to stop the Henshaw try? Or in the Prem semi-final last season when he tackled Vunipola in midfield on the halfway line to then get back up and beat Wyles to the try line? I'm not going to deny that Nowell's pace can be an issue in defence but he definitely saves tries.Brown out? Watson in or is he going to be rested
For me pace is the most important for defence so chasing many times I've seen nowell coasting coz he can't catch them
Were as the likes of may saves a trys
