Why can't EA make a rugby league game? I would be pretty good? [/b]

For such a big gaming company, a Rugby League game would not even be mentioned as a possibility to be made. They would make next to no sales compared to their other games, and the time and effort put into a Rugby League game would gain much more money if the same amount of time and effort was put into another game.

But then again I suppose they could commission another company to do it, just like HB Studies does Rugby.

Bottom line though...it's not going to happen

Hardly matters anyway, it takes less then 5 phases to rum 100m on Rugby 06 anyway. Even on the hardest setting.

Imagine how easy it'd be without those 2 extra defenders and no slow ass props.

yeah, its a shame sidhe own the rl rights. it wouldnt be too much work to adapt the ea rugby franchise and crank up the profits. id buy both no worries.

Maybe, but they're f'ing useless when you have control of one in Rugby 06.

without props the game of rugby is super 12 mate, circa 2000. looked alright to me and i started out at prop. lifes much more fun at second five. especially if you weigh 20kg more than the guy opposite. god i miss age grade.

anyone seen the new nike world cup kits (england and france). christ almighty, as if its not enough that england play like a bunch of women, now they have to look like em too.

i guess the new kits will be in the new game. i suppose the other unions will be releasing their new jerseys in the next few days too. interesting to see what they come up with.

someone put it that career mode you can sign players from either code. someone has a sense of humour.

I really would like to see blood and also you should be able to change their stats. And there has to be legends in the gameg lomu and johnson. Also they should put wendall sailor in the game. and give lote dreads. And Kabamba Floors yellow hair. :cheers: if they dont do these things well :wall: and they need to make the scrums more realistic.

I don't think Lote should have dreads, for the main reason being that he doesn't have dreads and I don't think Wendell Sailor should be in the game because he has nothing to do with Rugby Union.

having blood bin could be a nice feature, waste of time, but it could add a lil realism to it!

They won't put in blood. Blood = Raise in Game Rating, last thing EA want is it to be slapped with a M tag.

depending on when the game comes out it could be too late. but who knows, anyway some modders here would be able to put him in anyway.

I hope they were able to put in the Pacific cup tournament, don't care whether it's official or not as long as it's in there. I will be curious to see how many of the teams they get right, because if they're still using the same roster from the 2003 world cup for the island sides, I will be mighty ******.
Still it's tough to update the Pacific sides as many of the stats for the players don't exist on the net and you'd have to call the clubs back home to get it!! Good luck on that call lol.
