Cipriani Moved to the Elite

In all fairness, who else could he choose?
Cipriani's been pretty average since he came back. A poor performance in the AI's and the media will be all over him...

The inclusion of Lipman and Abba-dabba-doooo (and Scrappy Doo toooo!) is a good move as it brings in some very in form players to shake things up a bit.

So far I'd put in the "in form" column right now:

- Abba-dabba-danger-mouse-babba
- Wort of Borthwick
- J.R Hartley
- Lipman
- Hipkiss
- Flood
- Sinbad (although he's been "in form" since 2000 to be honest)
- Care
- MIIIISSTTTAAAAAAAHHH KEEEENEEEEEEEDDDYYYYYY

So far, so reasonably good.

Why would you choose Wilkinson now? Cipriani looks to be Englands future fly half for a while and to be honest he can do well for you guys.
More than anything, the guy proves to be a threat with the ball in his hands, his kicking out of hand's been sub par this year and his general on-field direction isn't great, but he just needs time to get back into the flow of the game after his injury.
It's certainly not a bad move, that's for sure.
Let go of Wilkinson, that's the best thing England can do right now.

Mite, no, just..no.

On the face of the changes, would anyone's AI XV change?

1. Sheridan
2. J.R Hartley
3. Stevens
4. Kennedy
5. Borthwick
6. Haskell
7. Rees
8. Crane
9. Care
10. Cipriani
11. Sinbad
12. Hipkiss
13. Flood
14. Sackey
15. Abba-dabba-doo

I thought you all <strike>hated Sackey</strike> opposed to Sackey being in the side...

I'm only going on what is in front of me to be honest.

I'd rather have Noah Cato to be honest...

I actually like Sackey. Guess that makes me special.
He's got speed and he can do everything else reasonably well.

How's Simpsin-Daniel doing this year? Ain't seen many of his matchos since the season start.

As usual, Simpson-Daniel is doing everything brilliantly. But also, as usual, he's being ignored because he plays for the wrong club.

As for Sackey, he's got all the talents to be a great player, sadly however he's bone-idle and has bottled it whenever he's looked like making it as a great player. Of course, being a Wasp he'll get as many chances as he likes.

it's only really conspiracy theorists/ stuck records. Hem hem...

I agree with Prestwick entirely for the side. Apart from having the centres the wrong way round.

However, I have my misgivings about Abendanon. Fine give him a go against the PIs (got tickets...) but I'm not happy about having him as a last line of defence/ actually touching the ball in the 22 in a proper test match. But with Tait injured there's no one in that elite squad.

I still like Delon Armitage. I've seen him play quite a lot and always been impressed... creative, quick, good kicking game, and I haven't noticed any defensive howlers.

For the 11 shirt obviously it's great for Simpson-Daniel to have a chance. If he doesn't work/ gets injured again, there's always Strettle (who I like a lot), Banahan (knocking on the door very loudly) and Ojo still. Shame Varndell isn't considered big and bashy enough to go on the wing for Leicester...

To Be honest you've got to pick cips. He is lush, his kicking is fantastic he runs like a wing and he makes tries. Also he is hardly weak in defence. My Team Would be
Sheridan - you've got to pick him
Mears - on good form for bath
Stevens - Vickery ended
Borthwick - Captain
Croft - very versatile
Rees - good form for wasp
lipman - great player haskell terrible form
crane - faultless at the moment
Care
Cips
Simpson D
flutey
tait
sackey
Abedanon

Actually Banahan at full back sounds a fantastic prospect. He seems to have fantastic form at the moment.

I'm not sure about you're centers. Haven't seen much of Flutey this year yet (lack of sky) but from what I've read/ heard he's lost the form he had last season. Also, I always think playing Tait in the center is a little light weight. I'd personally go with Hipkiss and Flood against the SH 3, just seems more solid.

Every time somebody says Mears should play for England, I die a little inside...[/b]

Mears and Steven link up better and is a proven partnership, which has been performing week after week in the Premiership, so personally if I had to choose I would go for that, rather than try to recreate with Hartley and Stevens...

This is nothing against Hartley, who I think is a great player but I just feel Mears is better for the team at this moment in time.

In that basis, Sackey, Voyce and Lewsey should the the back 3 because they play most often with Cipriani.

I think not.

No cos they are not performing well, if we go on form Cipriani shouldn't be playing...

At least Stevens and Mears are playing well together and are winning games with Bath..
