Champions Cup 24/25 - Round 2

Oh Jesus Christ.

Munster showed a lot of dog but absolutely nothing else. Lots of work to do.

Heavily rotated Racing side, sure, but I still never expected a result like that - we're usually dire in Europe, especially against the French
Lineout the only real concern

Starting Millar-Mills away in South Africa predictably looking like a bad idea

Have Bears tried to coin a new word for replacements
Indeed, we've been using it for a while in spite of getting some grief from outside. Scans a bit odd for PR but I get the reasoning for it, we play our system and those that are not numbered 1-15 are doing the same when they get on. Thanks for the well wishing for Bristol, it's refreshing.

As for Jake, indeed. I like him as that useful club player who will probably be in nobody's ideal starting XV but comes in, works hard, gets a job done. Can play across the back row which is useful for 23 selection plus he's a top guy off pitch too.

As for the matches, enjoyed the Sale game last night, the second half performance was impressive to leave Racing with nothing. Speaking of leaving, Bamber departing the Bristol academy was a shame. Catching up on the Northampton game now as I'm a bit behind.

South African announcers actually liking the sport goes a way to making the games enjoyable.

You can deny it all you want but Wendy is the present of English rugby.

Is it just me or do Tigers have a much easier team to play than Chiefs did last week vs the SA Sharks.

Still come on Tigers.

Also great to see wins from Sale Sharks and Saints.

Pleased for Sale and obviously Saints.

Sharks vs Tigs should be good

Still come on Sharks 😀

Did I just hear that Bulls got player of the match even in a losing side that didn't get a bonus point? That's some serious salt to not award it to a Saints player.

Apparently the Bulls fans behind Northampton's technical area were getting into it as well. 😄

All the extra South African accents has made Pollard think he's playing international rugby so he's actually turned up
