Champions Cup 2019/2020: Pool 3

Well - he owes us, both some sympathy, and for all his dislikes .

That was... not the world's most entertaining match

I feel like we're stuck in some weird Irish power struggle here

I may have misheard it as I stepped away but did Dellaglio say "This crowd in Devon" talking about the Bath crowd...?

Saw a post with stats, Bath one of the worst defences in the Prem and some of the most penalties conceded, fewest metres made etc. They are ******* shambolic, how can so many internationals be so awful? The old boys at the top are screwing the club over by refusing to recognise there is a serious problem in the coaching. I don't like abandoning a side but I'm getting seriously fed up with the attitude that permeates through the Bath team, coaching and management.

The bullshit at the base of the ruck needs to be free kicked, it's ridiculous. Counted a full 9 seconds after the ref shouted use it there.

Good game, proud of the boys but wtf Cavubati?!?

Ulster supporters behind me were trying the tactic of consistently shouting random penalties and hoping the ref took their advice haha.

Absolute idiocy from the Quins lock costs them the game

There was quite a bit of ****le through the game - it was always gonna catch up with someone.

Could make next weekend pretty tasty - a few fellas will have scores they want to settle.

So quins have named a shadow team.

Gilroy stank the place out last week, so Faddes in is a big plus. Treadwell has been going fairly well this season, so him for O'Connor is similar.

Quins have dropped out Chris Robshaw, Danny Care, Joe Marler, and Marcus Smith.

If we can't win this now, we've no errand near the knockouts.

Stockdale is very interesting. He's been played at full back in a few games now, I wonder if this is an IRFU directive, or just trying to get him more involved. Its where he played his U20's rugby until the Ulster set up, and since then he's gotten far more secure under high ball, and more consistent with the boot. Faddes would have more experience there, and you'd say it might be more balanced to reverse their positions, so definitely an interesting one
Brett Herron couldnt buy a start for Ulster, was surprised when Quins brought him into their setup at all, never mind starting a Champions cup game. This team is there to be got at, bonus point win should be the target. Key will be the intensity and the start. Get out of the blocks quickly and this will be a formality. Come out slow, and we'll be seeing the uphill battle and tight tussle that we Ulster fans are used to in Europe

A couple of decent players in that Quins team (Sinckler, Goneva, Saili, Landajo), but if you can't put away a team with Herron at 10....
Season has gone really favorably for Ulster. Some tough performances to win games they easily could have lost and Quins folding just in time for this fixture. They're value for it though.

Kind of love BT's tactic of what appears to be walking around the pitch and interviewing unsuspecting players who are warming up.
