Carl Hayman Off Home?

********. I saw Jonny Wilkinson end the guys career by deliberately dropping his knee into Hyndmans back in a "late challenge" just because he was shown up.

He's an egotistical c*** who's not allowed to be criticised as he's the meejas poster boy. It makes me sick to death when people harp on as though he's worthy to lace the poots of some of the real greats.

I've met the bloke and he's far from egotistical. He's one of the most humble people I've ever met.

Your perception is clearly fuelled by something other than the personality of the man.

He really is... Can't run, can't pass, clumsy tackler, limbs made of glass.

One drop goal and the whole world forgets how many stupid mistakes he's made in his time... Prime example; Almost single handedly handing the win to Wales in the 2003 WC until Catt bailed him out.[/b]

teh mite does not like Wilkinson......just scan the board for awhile and that perspective is present.

Just watched an interview with Carl Hayman, apparently he does want to stay but only if there are big improvements.

Cant say he`s set the world alight. Decent scrummager but pretty overrated. Non existent in open play. But then again if you can steady the scrum from tight head you are worth your weight in gold these days.

I wouldn't say he was average, I'd say he was good 6 years ago, though.

He should in no way be involved in the Lions in no way, no way ever.

and pray tell how would he be involved in a Lions tour???[/b]

I believe he's muddled the Wilko talk from earlier in the thread.

Well, it's not outwith the realms of possibility that he recovers from injury in time for the Lions...and smuggles his way in off the back of the media, hopefully it wouldn't happen, but didn't a similar thing happen with the World Cup?

Or did I just imagine him being in RWC07?
