Brive vs Sale Sharks
Stadium Municipal
11/12/10 - 7.45pm (local time)

Looking forward to this very much as Tait and Tonetti are both back from injury, and Tuilagis out with one, so the centre partnership I've been wanting to see all season is finally being tried out :D
12. Tonetti (think it's his first start in the 12)
13. Tait

Cueto, Williams, Sheridan and Lewaravu are all back from international duty, and Peel is back from injury too.
Thornley and Boko aren't playing as neither are registered for the Amlin (not too fussed about Thornley, he looks a good prospect, having just moved across from Wigan Warriors, but they're using him at 12 a lot, and I'd prefer to see Tonetti there, Boko looks quality though, so that's a shame)

It's also a shame that Tom Brady is out injured for a while, as a wing partnership of Cueto and Cohen, though heaps of experience and skill between the two, isn't exactly lightning fast. Though Rhys Crane is looking good in the premiership (not sure if he's registered with the ERC either, as I think he's still on a 3month trial period at Sale)

Sale team:
15 Paul Williams,
14 Ben Cohen,
13 Mathew Tait,
12 Kyle Tonetti,
11 Mark Cueto,
10 Nick Macleod,
9 Dwayne Peel,
8 Kristian Ormsby,
7 Neil McMillan,
6 Sean Cox,
5 Nic Rouse,
4 Wame Lewaravu,
3 Karena Wihongi,
2 Marc Jones,
1 Andrew Sheridan.
Replacements: 16 Ben Roberts, 17 Lee Imiolek, 18 Henry Thomas, 19 Chris Jones, 20 Chris Brightwell, 21 Will Cliff, 22 Rob Miller, 23 Chris Bell.

Brive team:
TBA

Be interesting to see if Brewer can finally get out of Tait what no other sod in the world could manage - Consistently decent performances! (I won't say good just yet, don't want to push the lad too far!)

Will be interesting to see how Tait goes, he's only played about 50minutes under Brewer so far, and that was against a Spanish or lower league Italian side (think Sale got about 12 tries in that match)

In fairness Sale actually have a nice backline. Williams was superb in AI's and the back 3 is an impressive unit

Also be interesting to see how the Brive fans react to Cohens' return.

Jamie Noon has no head, just a face on the front part of his extremely long neck:

Brive 18 - 9 Sale Sharks
(18 - 9 HT)

This match was terrible, and I envy anyone who didn't watch it.

Oh sad to hear the sharks lost.
It seems it wasn't the best rugby weekend yesterday. Only + was Aironi.
