So he'll at least be out of training for a bit. Sounds like he won't be 100% regardless.
No issues with Osborne as he has the ability and versatility which is good.Delighted for Osborne.
I think he should have been chosen ahead of Henshaw for Ireland and Leinster this season and he'd have been a strong contender for the initial squad but for that.
Insane talent and hopefully this adds to his value in green and blue a wee bit.
You're obsessed with weird politics like this hahaBut you do wonder what way Henshaw is viewed now?
No. He just signed new deal recent enough. And alot of off field business ventures. He is no flight risk.Really happy withe Osbourne call-up, realistically he should've been Daly's replacement, their percentage of centre vs back 3 appearances is pretty similar

Lemme guess - he's on the first flight to France now?
Haha, apologies - I didn't even see your username just saw that line and thought you were the guy in every England thread saying that X player is definitely going to move to France now because Y player was picked ahead of him in a gameNo. He just signed new deal recent enough. And more just is Henshaw now our 4th choice centre.
Agreed this call-up should have been for Daly too. Massive fan of Owen Farrell but still can't see sense made.
Henshaw is currently injured so could easily still be top 3, if the summer off helps him out which has happened before then great. If not I hope Farrell pulls him down a peg, the challenge of options can't be a bad one though! No issues with Osborne as he has the ability and versatility which is good.

I never say a player should move. Also Leinster are tight on numbers so wouldn't want thatHaha, apologies - I didn't even see your username just saw that line and thought you were the guy in every England thread saying that X player is definitely going to move to France now because Y player was picked ahead of him in a game
Robbie is back fit. But I accept the view. Will be very interesting how the dynamic goes. I know Jamie probably there now more for versatility but will be coming to a stage too where we see is it centre or 15 he goes forward. Hugh Gavin also being capped will mean 4 internationals and an All Black competing for those 2 jerseys in Dublin next year. A good complaint.Henshaw is currently injured so could easily still be top 3, if the summer off helps him out which has happened before then great. Just snapped my Henshaw blue light glasses over my knee. The age of the Ginge has begunAnd alot of off field business ventures.
I've only seen the first half but they were pretty awful at resourcing rucks, which is poor particularly given it's a known strength of the Brumbies. I think they conceded something like 11 turnovers which tells the story in itselfWere the Lions as bad at the break down yesterday as some of the press are stating?. Seems a theme where when other teams are going hard at the break down the Lions are generally struggling.
Surprised if true as this was meant to be a strength.
Yeah, we were awful at ruck time throughout the game.I've only seen the first half but they were pretty awful at resourcing rucks, which is poor particularly given it's a known strength of the Brumbies. I think they conceded something like 11 turnovers which tells the story in itself
Delighted for Osborne, but would he benefit more from staying in the Ireland camp rather than being a tackle target in the Lions’ camp for 3 weeks? He may get a run out off the bench in a midweek game, but barring catastrophic injuries, he’ll get no test time.Delighted for Osborne.

Ah I mean he's missing what, a day of training, a captain's run and a game v Portugal?Delighted for Osborne, but would he benefit more from staying in the Ireland camp rather than being a tackle target in the Lions' camp for 3 weeks? Don't be breaking those. They may be on the cheap side of budget at €1k but still people will consider you common with that behaviourJust snapped my Henshaw blue light glasses over my knee. The age of the Ginge has begun
Agreed here. No issue with him missing Portugal. He will probably see field in midweek game so will get that game and get few weeks exposure with Lions squad. So he will benefit more there.Ah I mean he's missing what, a day of training, a captain's run and a game v Portugal?
He went really well against stiffer opposition last week. Extra training and exposure is surely an upgrade for him, not a guy in need of a rest either.
