Boudjelal issues ultimatum to test players

You are sooooooo wrong but please look back at all the posts on the various threads as to why as we all get really tired repeating the same old arguments and stating the real reasons!!

Well in my eyes it's probably more to do with the rubbish coaches you have in charge of France . You have fantastic players all over the team but rarely put it all together .

Look all I'm saying is id rather Steffon play for france than england break the system they are using currently

That is correct but not what you said............

I actually do not see Armitage being able to play for France after the latest from the IRB where they say there are three tests to pass including their permission. I do see the English attitude of not playing players who do not play in England as a bit myopic and nationalistic but they have the right to set their own criteria.

For my mind, if they have the right access to their players, they should pick their best team no matter where the players happen to play but I can see why many, many disagree!

Lol I was talking about the issues with players not playing in England playing for England . Your league is full of foreigners and that's why your national team is quite frankly rubbish

yeah Maverick dude I appreciate you but either keep up with what ppl who know are saying about the issues with the French national team (which we make an effort to display here on TRF, in case some are interested in knowing) or don't if you're not interested, that's okay too; but you can't affirm things like that which just look funny to those ppl who know, like it's fact. Plus I mean, Martin Johnson looks like a sexually hyperstimulated gorilla on your avatar...(jk)

I don't see insisting on getting as much control over your Internationals with the minimal number of negotiations, while at the same time protecting the quality of your national leagues, as anything other than a pragmatic and sensible policy for producing the best team possible. We do it, the Kiwis do it, the Ozzies do it, the Irish 90pc enforce it, the Welsh are about to start semi-enforcing it; that's fifty pc of Tier 1 countries with the remaining teams being those who'd have huge issues enforcing it, or who don't need to stop their players going abroad.

Not getting into an argument as can see both sides.....however, protecting one's own leagues is rather nationalistic!

it is just my opinion that players improve by experiencing and playing in different countries with different methods and different lifestyles......I would point to Martin Johnson and Haskell as two that have seen their game improve.

But hey.......that is how it is!!

Well I suppose it is... but then by definition, forming a good international side is very nationalistic! Once you start with that, further nationalistic actions are the rational thing to do.
