BLUES centre Jamie Robinson is set to stun the region by joining French club Toulon.

The Wales midfield man is understood to be on the verge of signing a two-year deal with the wealthy French outfit for next season after failing to agree a new contract with the Blues.[/b]

Dave Walder and Gareth Cooper could be joining the team though, according to the article.

Cooper has signed so Ive read in the Western Mail.

Jamie Robinson has been a very loyal servant to Cardiff, through some really tough times aswell, and it would be hard to see him leave. He was very lucky not to be called up for Wales during the autum, as Bishop was chosen as he is younger. I hope this doesnt go thorugh.

No deal for Cooper as of yet! The Blues are looking into signing Peel from Sale!

If Robinson goes then it will be a loss to the region! But if he goes ... he goes!

Never really rated Robinson. He's given me too many 'OMG WTF WAS THAT?!' moments for me to be a fan of him.
Peel would be a good grab for the Blues, given that Spice is just plain awful.

He missed a few tackles last night in the Blues game, its why he is never looked at Wales properly because of his tackling ability!

In contrast, I've always rated Robinson and thought him desperately unlucky throughout his career with injuries and wot-not. He's never been necessarily a top starter for Wales but has always been dependable and I think he definitely should have been involved in the squad in some way. Maybe not now with Bishop's emergence and excellent recent performances, but Robinson should have got the call during the Autumn as he had been playing great rugby.

When he first burst onto the scenes he was awesome for both Cardiff and Wales, he was quite a bit quicker than he has been since and at the time was the player I was truly excited about and wanted to watch, then he got injured over and over. It's blighted his career and stolen a yard or two of pace. He's still a quality player and it's unfortunate he won't be playing in Wales next year. In the end money talks, and the French clubs are chucking it round like there's no tomorrow. He'll be a big loss .
