Ref says that the focus is on protecting the bloke in the air................he also said he did not believe that the Black had any realistic chance of getting the ball........whilst I can understand the first, how one earth do you know until you are in the air whether or not you have such a chance in a split second!!

He did put his hand on the shoulder which led into the ground so fair enough.........do not believe he "pulled" though!

I agree with this. He also jumped into the player rather than up due to losing the air. Eyes on the ball means absolutely nothing, neither does intent.

I agree especially after the effort they put into the first 60 minutes whereas the Blacks were cruising....backwards!!!

Smith and McCaw can come out of this with their heads held high and Barrett played ok too.........the rest were and are very poor!!
