Best 15 of the tournament?

Is that meant to be dig at me? Easy look at my profie pic and signature obviously I am slightly biased towards him and overall he did have a brilliant tournament. Aso I preferred his kick to Jenkins'

Not a 'dig' but yes it was at you, biased doesn't mean blind :p. After all I didn't put Wilko at flyhalf :p.

hard to pick a 15 from well over 600 players and where so many positions had key players in a lot of form. Like 6 How do you chose between Kaino, Burger & Dusautoir? Or 7 how do you pick between McCaw, Pocock or Warburton?

I'm not even going to try and I'm not even going to try and convince people I actually watched all 48 games because I didn't I doubt there are many people that did.

For the AB's though there were a few key guys who stepped up and in my view became the best in the world in their position because they were brilliant every week and their efforts directly resulted in their team winning the whole thing.

1, Jerome Kaino - Last 3 years he's just got better and better every year. It's freakish! In the Aussie game he hit a tackle and drive back 4 aussies almost by himself. The strength he has is bizarre, he's not a Gym Junky, he obviously does push weights but nothing compared to what most do. Also has some of the biggest shoulders around.

2, Owen Franks - Has shown he can hold his own or dominate anyone in the scrum but what makes him so good is his work around the field. No Tighthead in the world makes it to anywhere near the same number of breakdowns as Owen does. who else in the world could make NZ feel ok about not having Carl Hayman for the World Cup?

3, Israel Dagg - most people have him as their 15 and that says it all I think. NZ lost arguably the best 15 in the world over the last 4 years to injury and hardly missed him. The era of the "Brilliant" Mills has ended but the era of the "freakish" Dagg has begun.

4, Richard Kahui - been a great time for him. A center at heart I believe Kahui is the most naturally gifted and skilled player NZ have along side Carter and McCaw. He's scored trys, created trys, put in some huge hits, won turnovers, been faultless under the high ball, showed up all over the park, kicked well, seems to always beat the first defender and make 10,15,20m in traffic and retain possession.

5, Brad Thorn - Didn't show his hand will the knockout games but took his game to another level in the last few games when it counted and put his ball carrier hat back on as well as doing some important lineout work. We all know he's a huge part of NZ's scrum success but that's hard to quantify. But it was obvious to see him lift his all round game in the last few weeks.

McCaw's the obvious other standout, he does more work in a half of rugby than most do in a game and all that with a busted foot? And being an obvious target by the opposition. To standout so much every game during the most professional era of the game is pretty mind blowing.

That's an interesting tight-5, Larksea :p
Wouldn't mind seeing a Kaino/Dagg prop partnership go up against the Wesh or South African front row

Neither did England. He sat so deep I thought he was playing fullback.

But Healy actually had a good tournament while Wilkinson didn't
