I'm just suprised to hear someone admit that they drink butt cum...I thought that only existed in porn.
Anyhoo...on to the real subject, beer.
I live literally in eye shot from Budweiser the self styled "King of Beers." I walk my dogs through their campus every morning. It is everywhere here in the city of Saint Louis. Bud, Bud Light, Bud Select, Michalob, Michalob Light, Michalob Ultra....
What's your opinion on the Ultimate in American beer? Personally, if I'm going to drink an American Beer, I'm going to drink Sam Adams.
But let's move on to my next question...What's this?

HA! Fosters is sold hardly anywhere is Australia because no-one drinks it. It's marketed and sold in foreign countries as Australia's beer but its absolute bullshit really, cos it aint!
So yeah, anyway, foster's isnt the budweiser of Australia, because quite simply, its **** and its sold in like 1% off liquor stores.

They always go on about their Boags(?)...Tasmanian beers seem to be the ones they plump for. As mentioned Little Creatures IPA is lovely but it's only a micro-brewery.
I have to say Aussie beer reminded me of that bit in the Simpsons where they do the Duff breweary tour and all the different varieties of Duff are coming out of the one pipe.
Carling is the British Fosters I suppose.

Oooops honourable mention goes to the Coopers beers in South Australia. All the big boys are pretty generic : The Tooheys beers, VB, MB, The Carltons, The various XXXXs, Hahn etc etc
Brooklyn Lager is really nice yankee beer....haven't seen the Sam Adams over here yet.

At least you have dropped the idea that fosters is an Australian Beer.

I've only ever had 375ml of the wonderful James Boags Premium, and I must agree...the nectar of the gods.
The cheapest, best option is goon (cheap casked white wine). Can get a 4L cast for $8 and when you mix it with the right cordial, its the shizzle!....Thats only when poor though lol.
Anyway back to the topic which is beer, if you haven't tried J.Boags, then you should. In Australia, a case of the Premium is around $58, and a case of the Premium light is about $35.

Just look out for it its usually can be found on special then its about 44-47 dollars oddly enough everywhere has it cheap for christmas. :huh: Do not encourage people to drink light beer. :angry: LOL at goon never tried it with cordial. :blush:

Had a Toohey's New last night for the first time. They've started carrying it at the Australian Embassy...excuse me, I mean Outback Steakhouse. It was great...I listened to Men at Work sing Land Down Under and watched Crocodile Dundee...It's like being in Australia but only making a 10 minute car ride.
