Banahan is not as bad as people make out him to be..just becuase of his size people expect far much more from his performances than he gives...to be fair he is solid in defence and a hard guy to stop

To be fair, I watched the England v Samoa match the other day and he was actually pretty decent. Strong runner, good offload, and clears out rucks like a boss
I'm not completely against him being involved, but would rather he was used in the "smaller" matches - him as FB cover against Wales is going to be dreadful

I think Abendonon is a decent player very exciting going forward...

Abendanon is in the Saxons, so hopefully it'll be him. Best FB we've got (after Foden) - got a great counter attacking game as well.
Whoever gets called up won't get gametime, though (apart from maybe a bench spot against Italy) - as they'd be considered a "B" player as they're only there because of an injury/banning to someone else,
Same reason Robshaw (/whoever is called up for Croft) and Armitage (/whoever gets called up for Moody) won't get game time

As much as it pains me to say it (and it really does) Balshaw has actually done alright at Biarritz this season (well, this HEC - that's the only time I've seen him) and managed to string together a few games without being a big turd

ojo's certainly worth a place in the squad - unless someone else rockets into the scene I'd see him as the natural successor for Cuets. Did nothing wrong on that difficult tour of NZ, got involved in the silliness with that girl and hasn't been considered since, despite good club form. shame.

The QC turns down the appeal and confirms what we all suspect of his personality:
