Both teams are so proud of themselves, they play well, they can do unthinkable things against the big boys. This game will be decisive since England is most likely be one of the QFinalists.
Your opinion?

I think Scotland may beat England. They always improve their game to play the English...
About this game, before the WC I stated that Scotland would win, but now I'm a lot less certain about it.

I hope Georgia Gets the bonus point vs Argentina.... as for the QF whoever wins ARG vs SCO. Instead of Asking this you could'v gone to the prediction thread and looked at peoples predictions :D

The weather will be the most important factor in this game I believe, the Argies looked good with ball in hand against Romania (whom admittedly were quite poor in defense particularily) and everyone knows we thrive in the wet and cold.

The referee for this match? Everyone's favourite, Mr Wayne Barnes of England, if ever there was a ref to have preconcieved ideas about teams, its him. Noticed how in the Russia- Italy game he allowed the attacking team to go off their feet at will, whilst heavily penalised any transgressions, illegal and non-existant by the defenders. If this carries over to Sunday, we could be in for a wild ride, and I'm sure Andy Robinson would have taken note of Barnes, as it could determine whether we start with Jackson in an effort to spread, or Parks to kick for field position.

Personally I'm hoping/ expecting we'll line up something like this:

15. Chris Paterson
14. Max Evans
13. Joe Ansbro
12. Graeme Morrison
11. Rory Lamont
10. Dan Parks (yugh)
9. Mike Blair

8. Richie Vernon
7. Ross Rennie
6. Kelly Brown
5. Nathan Hines
4. Richie Gray
3. Geoff Cross
2. Ross Ford
1. Allan Jacobsen

Big points over the Scottish team is who starts at 3 and who are the locks. Moray Low gave Roncero a good doing in the past, however has not featured so far so Cross will probably start. Jim Hamilton and Hines our are scrumming locks, and both had good games against Georgia. We need a strong scrum, so AR might be tempted to start with them, however like South Africa we are in a position where our captain, Allistair Kellock, is not necessarily the best player in his position (lock), but he is our captain never the less. We could go for Hines at 6, as we need the extra physicality he brings to the side, and have a combination of Gray/ Kellock or Gray/ Hamilton for the locks, I would just be surprised if Hamilton started again and one of Gray/ Kellock was left out.

Another point is scrum-half, Cusiter didn't get a lot of game time, whilst niether Blair nor Lawson impressed. Who is selected at 10 may affect who starts at 9, Lawson with Jackson and Blair with Parks.

Hoping for a good performance, if we lose, we lose. If we win, I'll be over the moon, but will come back down knowing that means we won't beat England, as it is against our nature to have two good consecutive performances.

tough one to call this...definitely could go down 2 the wire, but i reckon it will be the puma's who will be looking to get that final score but the scots holding out to progress!!
