Americas Rugby Championship

The success of the ARC is already visible. It was interesting to see Canada being able to select a team that had been prepared for a change. They ANC enabled the Canadian Sevens coaches time to see the home talent play in a decent, well organized competition and the result in the Wellington Sevens was outstanding as they upset Argentina and knocked over France too.

They did so with a player roster made up of players from the ANC. i.e. Sean Duke, Ciaran Hearn and Nathan Hirayama to name a few. Obviously the ANC is working.

Hopefully Uruguay and Chile can be fast tracked into the competition. They are currently involved in the Cross Border competition with Argentine provincial teams.

So what your saying is divide the entire US into 4 zones like Canada has done and should South America do that as well? I think it's a good idea and one worthy of investing in.

Typically, Americans love franchises, not clubs. They like to support a whole region, rather than a club. So if you had, i dunno.. Dallas Rugby Bulls, it'd be more workable than San Whatever RFC.
