I am undertaking the advanced coaching award (Level 3) this April. Has anybody got any advice or experiences that can help. Have to provide 15-20 minute video of coaching including the use of skill zones. Just trying to plan what I need to do since RFU want to see coaching "Go forward and Support" from phase play.

Take something you coach in real life and just use that. Thats all i did for the level 2, just using real life experience.

Complete waste of time though, the main thing that rfu coaching courses don't teach you, is how to coach which is the most important thing of all.

Keep asking questions to the players "what do you think... when would we use this... what if this happens ect..." make sure they understand what they are doing not just following instructions

Have an solid idea of how to progress and regress the exercises and don't get hung up on things if they don't work.
