Rory Stewart the only one sounding like he actually has a grasp of reality. Raab coming across like a bit of a power mad psycho

Gove is also coming across as a complete ****

Whole thing is rather dull. Apart from Rory they all sound pretty similar. His bin analogy was great though. Really highlighted the idiocy of 'trust me, I know best'.

Krishnan Guru-Murthy is a bit useless. He's allowing them to wander all over the place and even facilitates it. I'm pretty sure he had a producer in his ear remind him that the audience is meant to ask the questions.

Probably the most pertinent question that isn't getting answered is 'how'.

"I'll do it."
"How?"
"Because I'll do it."

Gove when asked about Farage "Brexit is not all about one politicians ego trip". Gove a few minutes earlier "I won Brexit"

Tosser

I have never liked Conservatives but genuinely like how how Stewart is coming through in this. Also something they are all ignoring (except Stewart) is that being macho and just claiming you need to be even more confrontational will NOT work. What we need is to have good faith with the EU and only Stewart sounds like he'd achieve that.

Stewart the only one highlighting the complete lack of substance from the others and the whole problem with the no deal thinking.

Well considering the crowd is apparently the middle ground undecided voters, they certainly seem to like Stewart the most.

All loved how Javid paused after his nationalistic pride rhetoric and was met with silence. Hopefully this shows that some people are seeing through this and how it actually offers nothing.

So we learned nothing new at all then?
Steward is a professional diplomat who actually appears capable of diplomacy (no idea on any substance behind that appearance, but not places him miles ahead of the other candidates, and it's o ly a 100m race!)

Raab actually earns his nickname of "Demonic" through more than mere illiteration.
Gove resembles a road in so much more than just facial features.

Is it just me or does Raab sound like he is in some way related to Greg Davies? Real shame because I like Greg Davies but Raab sounds like a nutter.

Really not a fan of Krishnan Guru-Murthy. Never really watched him, but he's not doing a good job of leading this debate personally.

Interview answers for "what is your biggest weakness", exception for Stewart once again though

2 cheap low blows by Krishnan though

Rory Stewart is the only one being honest, realistic and not selling himself to be PM. Sadly it'll probably cost him when his fellow MPs and Tory members vote.

BoJo is going to be a complete disaster as PM, he's far too error/gaffe prone. A PM is required to be on point on many different topics and events. The level of scrutiny will be like nothing he has experienced before given that he won't be able to hide from PMQs etc. You've got to question the judgement of Tory MPs who first picked May and now BoJo.

I'm starting to wonder if their plan is to go for a snap election before he makes an arse of things. It really wouldn't surprise me if there's a plan to ditch the DUP and form a new coalition with the Brexit party. There's no denying their popularity in the polls.

Anyone else thinking there could be some merit is sticking money on Rory Stewart to get through to the final 2 for the Tory leadership?

I'd see how today goes first, I think its him or Hunt.

Think Javid and Raab will get knocked out at today's vote then Stewart, then Gove tomorrow/Thursday leaving Hunt to face BoJo.

Think this will really boost Rory's profile and he'll be a good shout to replace BoJo.

I think whoever wins they'd struggle not to give Stewart a cabinet position.

Well Stewart has already confirmed he won't work in a Boris cabinet. Looks like he'll back on the backbenches unless he does a U turn assuming Boris wins as expected.

I think with hypothetical questions its always easy to be absolutest. I think if the correct job was offered Stewart would fold. I don't think he'll be offered any of the big three.
