I kind of feel Frankie Boyle summed up these types of people. You see the choices they make, the horrific, hurtful, spiteful choices and you just have to wonder what in their life hurt them so much, they feel justified in their actions.I had a little sympathy the first time Trump got elected and people who could claim they were duped. I have zero sympathy now, Trump IS representative of America now and America is basically full of a bunch of moronic, hateful, selfish fuckwits. We cannot simply hope to wait it out for 4 years, that huge segment of the populace are still there and will still vote for the next MAGA arsehole to replace Trump.
We have to recognise that the USA as a whole is no longer a trusted ally nor are it's people even fans of the basic aspects of democracy any more.
Out of curiosity how many Americans have either of you spoken with, especially those who voted for Trump? Actually, spoken with, not insulted and called names? It is interesting as it always is how the left (for a sweeping generality here) cry and **** and moan about tolerance but it is only one way. As soon as presented with views and beliefs that don't match their own, it tends to devolve into name calling without intelligent conversation.
Question the thousands of illegal aliens in America, you're xenophobic. Question the absurdity of parents saying they don't want their daughters competing or changing with boys, you're transphobic and the list goes on.
