XL bully ban a 'huge burden' on policing, chiefs say

Sums up why the place is broke.

The NPCC lead for dangerous dogs, Chief Constable Mark Hobrough, said kennelling costs and veterinary bills in England and Wales had risen from £4m in 2018 to more than £11m between February and September 2024 - during the first eight months of the ban.

He added that by April this year, forces predict they could have spent £25m, a rise of 500%.

The dogs are gonna be destroyed. After getting them out of public sight, shooting them in the head will not cost £25m.
Yet the thought of doing that will be considered morally questionable as it involves a bit of blood and and no sterile environment (as if that matters given the f**king thing is gonna be killed anyway).

The nation as a whole needs to harden the f**k up and really start to question where they're p|ssing away money.

A bullet in the head of serial offenders would do no harm either, but that's another debate.

Not sure shooting dogs is a priority as a financial saving measure.

As for the death penalty no thanks.

He did slag him off that ship's sailed and tbh he was right. He should have stuck to his guns. Or i wonder if someone who is making ill judged and wrong comments to the press really suitable as a diplomat.

Half the problem with Trump is everyone from Tech bros, media and politicians are rolling over and having there bellies tickled, Trump gives zero f@#£s who he upsets or offends. Everyone else is apologising for upsetting him because they are scared of what he'll do.

I just wish people had the courage and conviction to stand up to him.
 
The supreme court have him free rein to do what he wants. He cannot be held criminally liable any more as President so can simply ignore things like the jaw on what a president can and can't do.

It will be interesting if any agencies simply refuse to enact his illegal orders. I doubt it but you never know.

This is why I cannot understand the far right, they claim to be patriots yet are right at the front of undermining their own country every opportunity they have. It's not just in the USA they are doing this.

Easy savings.
No doubt reflected across the sphere of public services.


The death penalty for owning a dog was hardly meant to be taken seriously!
Albeit maybe not so much of a joke for repeat offenders who have a dog that ends up killing a kid. They probably do deserve one.
