Yes, and I'm clearly taking about "stupid" which is why I said stupid in my post.

My wife is quite a prominent real estate and engineering voice/leader in Chicago.

I say that because she has worked indirectly with Trump. She told me back in 2015 he was an absolute business animal and understood how to maximize every part of real estate development.

But I still underestimated him! Once again, my wife knew better than me.

My mindset is this: before 2nd April my SSIP pension had a positive investment to value ratio, now it's got a negative one and I bet yours has too. That's not binary thinking/Trump bad/America dump that's the ******* facts and the reason that's happened is because of Trump. That's it. There is no sensationalism in that. Trump is currently empowering China and very likely moving your country (and mine) into a completely self inflicted recession. If you don't want to accept that then fine, but it's happening anyway.

Why aren't you seeing opportunity in today's market? Why are you sat back complaining about how bad you have it?

I bet Donald Trump is making moves!

As I say, I don't really care if you think he's the smartest guy ever or the thickest, it's not important. I care much more about the fact he's an authoritarian scum bag who doesn't care about the constitution and is a compulsive liar.

I think he's a good manipulator who has surrounded himself with very intelligent, though nefarious, people like Bannon.

Did any of them call for the constitution to be suspended and instigate an insurrection while engaging in a fake elector plot to delay the peaceful transfer of power to fraudulently take office in an election he lost?

It's just that I thought Trump was draining the swamp. A real people's guy who wasn't part of the establishment. But I hear you talking a lot about investments and money making and what not. But hey, maybe he is a working man's president. I'm sure he cares about them like he did when he pulled that crypto scam the other day.

I would consider that a pretty big constitutional crisis!

FDR threw thousands of American citizens into concentration camps and threatened the Supreme Court he would either impeach them or expand the court with his New York judge buddies if they didn't give him favorable rulings. That's not great!!

Again, my understanding of America goes back to 1620. Not 2016.
