Skelton went over to the do the old "pat on the arm/chest to say sorry" kind of thing and it all kicked off from that

Edit: Just watched it back and White was reacting to Sheehan, I think, trying to grab Skelton's jersey


Don't get why everyone's so up in arms about White tbh, Ryan and Porter kicked off just as much as he did all game

Tbf it's pretty immaterial - Aus won the game anyway, and Sheehan was never gonna play the opening rounds of the season

Surely he has to miss games he would actually play in, not games he should be resting for if it's mandatory. Having said that both Ireland and England have recently gamed the system so I wouldn't be surprised if he misses nothing.

I think only England have the hardcoded rest periods, IRFU central contracts are as and when they're requested so easy to work around with bans

Though we saw how un-hardcoded the England ones are with Underhills ban being reduced by making him eligible for the England XV game the week after the prem final

He won't as IRFU probably won't have him off beach until R4 when he will then just be starting Preseason. The preseason games included is good too

Make bans shorter and do them by comp / grade. 2 international tests would be a better punishment.

As is it's BS and murky to have them as any comp unless WR feel like they should disregard a league game.

I think the fact preseason games get taken in to account is what makes it more funnier.
