3rd test - Australia v British & Irish Lions

The following Lions team is one Farrell should select for the Third Test.

1. Ellis Genge
2. Dan Sheehan
3. Will Stuart
4. Maro Itoje (C)
5. Ollie Chesum
6. Jac Morgan
7. Josh van der Flier
8. Ben Earl
9. Jamison Gibson-Park
10. Finn Russell
11. DVDM
12. Sione Tuipulotu
13. Huw Jones
14. Mack Hansen
15. Blair Kinghorn

I'm just of the belief that Saturday's side was not the lion's strongest side, THAT "strongest side" has now had two attempts at Australia, and they ain't blown them away in either, 1st test they got the job, second was a life and death classic.

JVDF has to play and for all you, "pick on merit" "no sentiment" guys STFU !!! At 32, it's JVF last time he'll ever wear the shirt and a player like him has to get a test start, plus IMO, he's a better player in the back row than Curry and Beirne.

Morgan is the best back row on tour, and he's proven that, he's been very unlucky not to start the 1st or 2nf tests. Ben Earl can carry, I'd simply add more dynamism and youth in the back row that was lacking last wk

DVDM and MH over Freeman and Lowe who neither have pulled up any trees. Kinghorn at FB over Keenan, as he's simply a better player. Will Stuart in for Furlong, younger fresher, JGP, Sheehan and Russell are players you don't even think about. Ellis Genge ? Best loose head in UK and well the best at given speeches to get the lions revved up

Apparently Maro has a slight hammie so McCarthy could replace him

REPLACEMENTS: Luke Cowan-Dickie, Pierre Schoeman, Finlay Bealham, Scott Cummings, Henry Pollock, Alex Mitchell, Fin Smith, Freeman

Everyone wants to see Pollock get a test start.

But we all know that ain't happening.

Forgot about the wingers, which seems fairly on brand.

Now that we know Ringrose isn't going to make it, and the Lions are taking this whitewash seriously, I doubt Farrell will make too many changes.

He'll probably pick : Porter, Sheehan, Furlong, Itoje, McCarthy, Beirne, Curry, Conan, JGP, Russell, Lowe, Tui, Jones, Freeman, Keenan

Genge, George, Stuart, Chessum, Morgan, Mitchell, Farrell and Kinghorn on the bench.

I'm very tempted to give Ryan another run off the bench. He was a monster in Test 2 when he came on. If I were picking, I'd also replace Lowe with Kinghorn and put Hansen on the bench.

The Wallabies will be motivated and come back stronger. The Lions already struggled and nearly lost. If he wants a whitewash, he needs to chance his arm and go for something different. If Farrell picks a largely unchanged team, the Lions massively lose
