2nd test - Australia v British & Irish Lions

Wallabies (1-15): James Slipper, Dave Porecki, Allan Alaalatoa, Nick Frost, Will Skelton, Rob Valetini, Fraser McReight, Harry Wilson (c), Jake Gordon, Tom Lynagh, Harry Potter, Len Ikitau, Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, Max Jorgensen, Tom Wright

Replacements: Billy Pollard, Angus Bell, Tom Robertson, Jeremy Williams, Langi Gleeson, Carlo Tizzano, Tate McDermott, Ben Donaldson
Well... if we get stomped again we won't be able to use selections as a reason.

Injured I believe. Sucks he doesn't get to tear the Wallabies a new one again in front of his friends and family.

It's the only plausible reason to justify that change. Guess they kept it under wraps. Would be good to see him and Ringrose back for the third test.

Think this could be a proper contest.

Yeah shocked to see no Tuipolotu. Only an injury really makes sense.

Although wonderful to see Farrell in the squad. If it is a close game the Iceman will come on and see us through.

Apparently Ringrose was set to start with Aki but picked up another head knock in the captain's run. That's rotten luck for him although rough on Jones as he along with Sione would also have been out of the 23.

Farrell will be asked about Ringrose and Tuipulotu in the presser and so we'll hopefully get more info.

Not sure what Genge did to warrant being dropped for Porter.
Kelleher needs a big game from the bench.
Ryan in the 23 is mind boggling seeing as he has done nothing when starting or coming off the bench. Agreed that Farrell had clearly selected the side before Tuesday's game.
Farrell on the bench is a big call. Probably nothing major will happen, but Daddy Farrell taking a risk. I personally don't like it but hey ho.

My guess is Genge is hoped to bring some more energy off the bench compared to last weekend

Then why not start Kelleher as well or Morgan. Not sure why Genge has been singled out. Porter certainly didn't do enough to warrant starting. Feels like Genge is being punished because the bench players aren't good enough.
