Hate to say this but I think Los Pumas could get smoked again here, but I hope not. Forfeiting home advantage for this match seems a ridiculous decision. Can’t see anything but a Bokke win - probably by at least 15.

That whole Championship has been very competitive. In the end 1st place comes down to points difference, but South Africa's points difference of +57 has plenty to spare.

Congrats to South Africa for their first back-to-back Rugby Championships (in addition to RWCs), and Argentina go into the November tests with high expectations.

I imagine people will be talking about the decision to host that last game on neutral ground, given how close the score was

Argentina were robbed of 3rd place in my opinion, that Australia forward pass was worth 2 bonus points. Without them Australia would have finished on 9 points, and finished bottom.

Also there is a newspaper article suggesting that they may try and save the Rugby Championship by moving it to February March so it is on the same time as the 6N.

South Africa's median game was a win by 5 points (midpoint of +8 vs Aus and +2 vs Arg)
New Zealand's average game was a win by 1.3 points (PD +8 ÷ 6 games)
Australia's average game was a loss by 2.2 points (PD -11 ÷ 6 games)
Argentina's median game was a loss by 3 points (midpoint of -4 vs Aus and -2 vs RSA)

We were very lucky this game I feel like. Kinda feel Argentina are still the last in line when it comes to "luck" if you know what I mean.

On the game it certainly wasn't a classic. The player I was most impressed with was the young Argentine tight head that came on as a sub. Certainly a player I'll be keeping an eye on.
